One of the guys in Santa Clarita buying up all the ammo is a friend of mine. He's not selling it he's just gathering some up for a rainy day. He's spent over 25k in the last 45 days.

Some people get up and go legally get what they want/need.

Some other people sit around whining that someone else should make sure they get what they want/need.

I just picked up a total of 2500 rounds... Some people would accuse me of hoarding or attempting to resale it... But every single round of that will be used in a single 3 day class

All these complaints about ammo just seem silly to me... It is the same thing with people waiting till now to pick up an AR and then complaining about the costs

It was common knowledge before HE even got elected that HE would want to impose a new AWB and tax the hell out of ammo... That means everyone had the all that time prior to the election to stock up

My local Wally World had 10 boxes of Remmy 223 and guess what, I bought every damn box... I also shot every last round that afternoon, seems funny to me that people who routinely would only shoot a box of ammo per range trip never thought to simply buy a case and probably be set for the entire year

One thing doesn't go your way and you are all screaming for some sort of regulation that will (likely) never go away. Some day you will want to buy more than two boxes of ammo from Walmart and you won't be allowed because they will have a company wide regulation against it . . . Sounds a bit like our current administration if you ask me!
I'll rather live within the confines of a free market . . . Good or bad . . . convenient or inconvenient!

If I had a Walmart in Taft I would be buying it and reselling it (legally with my retail sales permit so please, oh please don't report me! ). It is simple supply and demand.

Watch the Craigslist ads for ammo sales, and watch this board too. If you see someone with a pile of what looks like wally-world ammo call them on it. Otherwise, just show up at wally world early every day until you beat the prick to the punch.

I'm willing to park my mega-motorhome in the Walmart parking lot and keep a sharp lookout for the ammo delivery trucks for a fee if anybody is interested.

I would be interested in just who is doing all of this bulk buying also. I know the Oxnard situation isnt because of shooters paradise. They dont tend to stock the same things. Not sure what the ammo situation is over at Camarillo Shooters Supply though, but I dont think they are doing it either.

You're comments give me the impression that you are the type of individual that would eyeball people at the range, and give an RAW owner a tough time. They'd be shooting their RAW and just because they are dropping standard capacity magazines from an evil looking gun, you'd report them to the DOJ without knowing the full story.
