.40 is not a problem caliber, it seem isolated to 9mm, .45acp, .223, and .308
Everytime I go to ChinaMart .40 is flowing off the shelves.

Just had that happen at my store today. Some a** hole comes in and drops $3,349.94 on ammo. Bought 50 boxes 100 cnt .45, 50 boxes 100 cnt 9mm, 15 boxes 100 cnt .38 spcl and another 9 boxes 50 cnt .45

Store Mngr got so pissed because he wanted to buy some 9mm today, so he finally imposed a 3 box per brand per day limit. Bout darn time!

Take a photo and post it here. The DOJ will be on his *** in no time.

              That's just dumb...

Without evidence of any illegal activity you'd advocate that someone be "Outed", just because they have the means to buy as much ammunition they want.
Last time I checked this is still America even with the questionable President in Office. The people that are hoarding to just to hoard, and don't share ammo have the right to be Jerks.
The rest of you can either continue to cry about it, or do something to improve your own situations. At the end of the day, the person responsible for your situation is the one looking back at you in the mirror.

                  I'm fine on ammo.

I think it's worthwhile making sure that if someone is buying up all of the WM ammo and reselling it for a profit that they're doing so legally. If it's some other gun store taking advantage of WM, then that's WM's loss. If it's a random Joe, well, he needs to cut that crap out.

The CA DOJ is better equipped to do it than I am, so give them enough info to find out.

You're comments give me the impression that you are the type of individual that would eyeball people at the range, and give an RAW owner a tough time. They'd be shooting their RAW and just because they are dropping standard capacity magazines from an evil looking gun, you'd report them to the DOJ without knowing the full story.
Unless someone has credible evidence that someone is engaged in illegal activity MYOFB. If someone walks into a ChinaMart and buys every single round of ammo they have, it isn't any of your business. Citizens are free to spend their money how they want.
If you were a day late and dollar short, tough luck.
                    And BTW...
ChinaMart does not come out as a loser limiting ammo purchases, or letting people buy unlimited amounts. At the end of the day, they are laughing all the way to the bank.
                    And guess what...
Their store report will put in an automatic re-order for the out of stock ammo, and it'll be restocked just in time for the next consumer to come and buy.

Let me play a song for you while I'm at it...

It seems that people's true colors are coming out. Some support free markets and individual rights, and others want someone else to do something about those "greedy" people. Should a person who stocks up on generators (legally) and decides to sell them when there is a blackout at an inflated price immoral?

Is the OP angry at someone buying the ammo before he get's a chance to or is the OP angry at not stocking up before the election? If I stocked up before the election, should I be forced to sell at below the market price because it's only fair that everyone should have easy access to (relatively) cheap ammo?

Reporting people for buying large amounts of ammo? What's next? Reporting people for buying too many (long) guns?

I support a free-market economy. It is just that I expect better from my fellow shooters than, "Ha, beat you to it. If you want it, you have to let me **** you on the price."

There is no incentive to voluntarily increase supply when there is an effective choke on the market and crazy demand. What's the motivation for a company to expand its production capability given the market and the future (possible) limitations of it? That would make little sense and would be a net loss.
