There's a Wal-Mart in Anaheim that had a paper on it's ammo door that said 2 box max for any ammo.

....which didn't matter since they had no ammo left....

Bunch of fricken commies on this board if you ask me. Capitalism is GOOD. If it gets bought out so quickly wallmart will place bigger orders, factories will produce more, and the price will go down everywhere. So chill, or at least lobby the wallmart manager to order more rather than whining on here.

The truth is, you can find ammo out there. Wal-Mart isn't the only store around and there is still the internet.

These threads about people hoarding ammo, and buying out walmart are getting really old. You all need to quit whining... If you dont like it, go buy somewhere else. you can find just as good of deals through cabelas with just a 1-2 week back order time. Hey if it bugs you that much the ole' saying "If you cant beat them, join them" comes to mind. If your that hard up for ammo, and are content with buying from walmart, beat them at their own game... just seems like a waste of time to me... Rant over, lol...

the internet is where the real deals are to be had.

They have the stuff that isnt popular that big monster companies wouldnt bother buying.

I am now going to try to keep my ammo buying on an internet/ person to person basis only.

I will only go to stores if i have to get some on the way to the range.

certain calibers arent to bad. 550 bricks of .22lr for 20 bucks.

25 round boxes of winchester super x for 6.99

factors out to 28 dollars per 100 vs 22 dollars per 100 at walmart.

I just walked into the Redding Walmart and there were a few thousand rounds of 9mm, 40, 45, and some others, but they had some paper printed and posted up that said you could only purchase 2 boxes per caliber.
I got a few boxes and hope there are some left tomorrow

I was in the local gun shop the other day and they were telling me how a customer was pissed that they sold him a gun he couldn't buy ammo for. I asked what ammo and she told me ".45acp you can get it anywhere". I told her i'm picking up 2k rounds in about an hour along with 6K rounds of other calibers. Now she wants me to get some ammo for them lol. It's nice having connections

Oh and I was just in our local wal mart tonight and they had probably a few thousand rounds of Winchester white box .40, Remington value pack .40, and Blazer Brass.40. Then a few boxes of odd calibers, and a few boxes of .223 55gr fmj. I picked up some Federal 00 buck and slugs and some Winchester .17hmr

I'd be wary of buying that much ammo at one time. Someone might follow the buyer home thinking they got guns. It's gotta be a cart full of ammo.
