I don't know what you arguing about it, you don't want some idiot to go buy 5000 rounds of ammo, do you? You buying few thousand rounds is fine, if you come every week and buy thousands and thousand of rounds, there is definitely something wrong.

WOW, still people are missing the point, its not about buying the bare minimum, just leave a little for other people.... Forget the ammo, its about having respect for fellow gun owners !!! People who have no respect are swine. SCREW THEM ALL !!!!

That's so weak it's almost liberal...yet not. Weird.

Lol, Sorry, I was trying to make a point about how absurd it was to restrict ammo sales by being more absurd...

I dont know what the "todays" price of say Rem UMC .223. In that case my local big5 was cheaper by a few bucks than walmart.

Its been a year since I checked either store and got to shoot. Saving for an optic.

I saw something on CNN a few days ago about how everyone everywhere is buying up ammo and IIRC they had a piece about walmarts becoming dry.

Just gotta go in at the right time. I just stopped by the local walmart and they just happened to have a bunch of 45acp. There was a guy there ahead of me waiting for the sales person to come over. I asked what he was getting and he said 45. I asked how much and he said 8 boxes (100rd boxes), which left 5 boxes for me. I really wouldn't have mineded if he took all 13 boxes. He was there first and. But it was nice of him to leave some. I also grabbed 5 boxes of Winchester .17hmr and 5 boxes of Federal 30-30.

It's happening because of re-sellers or people preparing for the "war." I'm not mad when I see these places get cleaned out I just think "Well should have gotten here earlier." Survival of the fittest! I think Wal-mart stocks up Saturday or Sunday.

No. If the company increases the amount of supply available, prices will decrease. That's capitalism 101.

Not a single person in the crowd is rational or reachable because the parade's for gay folks and it's in SF.
