Natural disaster, confiscation

I cannot speak for him, but for me it's the fear that my new state will meet the same fate as CA with influx of Californian attitudes. Not just attitudes for guns, but all the general "liberal values" that starts down the slippery slope.
While I welcome Californian refugees, I wouldn't welcome their liberal anti-American typical Californian values. It's very similar to immigration in the 1950's through the 1980's, those people wanted to be Americans (and their attitudes reflect that) compared to the current immigrants who wanted to stick to their culture they're from and wanted to change America into their old country they left.sigpic

We are discussing gun confiscation during a natural disaster, but thanks for the civics lesson.Because the decision making processes of our state government are proportional to population only.
It doesn't matter a bit how big the state is. Enough votes to decide pretty much any issue are resident within the L.A. and Bay Area population centers. You don't gotta go any farther than that.
It might be different if California state had something equivalent to the Electoral College, or the U.S. Senate (Two senators per state regardless of population) that would provide a geographic equity to government, but we don't. California government is all based on population equity and that means the rest of the state don't count for much.

LOL... Nothing better to do.. Nope....
I'm retired as pacrat mentioned below.
So I have all the time in the world to make fun of people who have crazy apocalyptic beliefs or fears.
Pure comedy gold in these threads.
LOL..Typical behavior of an Ex-Krapofornian Public Service Union Employee.
Who are considered "SPECIAL CLASS" while here, and were instrumental in creating the crap in KrapOfornia.
Then running away with their loot in the form of citizen tax dollars [pension]. To more tax friendly and freedom minded states. And then calling for "Border Blockade" to keep other people just like him, from doing the same thing he did.
The absofreak'nlute epitome of hypocrisy.
Did I rain on this paranoid fantasy thread???
Poke'm with a stick!

I was actually responding to this very specific question of yours contained in Post #133:
"Why do most folks on here think that California only consists of LA and San Fran?"

LOL..
So just how am hoping to "betray" my former friends and neighbors?
I'm here on this site because I enjoy conversing with fellow gun owners, as well as poking fun at folks who have paranoid fantasies and beliefs...
Do you really believe any of the tripe being served up in this thread?
LOL...

And again I repeat, people think of this state in terms of LA and San Fran, and when the big one strikes, we wouldn't be talking about votes, we will be talking about emergency services and riot control. The fear of confiscation may apply to these areas, but California's surface area would (I think) preclude most areas from this. Again, in my post I was talking in terms of Katrina type actions by the police, guess I didn't make that clear."I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. During Katrina the police didn't take everyone living in Louisiana's firearms just the peoples in and near the evac area. And again I repeat, people think of this state in terms of LA and San Fran, and when the big one strikes, we wouldn't be talking about votes, we will be talking about emergency services and riot control. Nope, all you did was once again show your true self, and proved that you are exactly what I said you are.Did I rain on this paranoid fantasy thread???
Which is exactly what I said you are. You are right on one point. Pure comic relief to see you damn yourself as a tax sucking hypocrite. Then switch to denial and deflection, when called for your hypocrisy.Originally Posted by pacrat View Post

Members of your "Special Class" claiming the atrocities visited upon law abiding citizens by cops that happened in the past. Can't happen again because laws have been passed against it happening. Is also PURE BOVINE EXCREMENT denial of facts.
2A-Right to keep and bear arms.
4A-Against warrantless search and seizure.
5A-Deprived of Life, Liberty, and Property, without "Due Process".
All of those and more laws were already passed. As far back as 1791. Which your "Special Class" of citizens have an uncountable multitude of times historically ignored with impunity after passage.
Katrina was just a concentrated example of the lawlessness of LEOs victimizing citizens to further the agenda of a crooked mayor and CoP.
Right up to and including murder of unarmed citizens trapped on a bridge. And beating a little old lady in her kitchen.
So Yeah, Since you've done it before. Citizens have every right to believe that you will do it again. And that what was once "Citizens Police". Which through welcomed political affiliation on your part, and the parasitic financial relationship between yourself and leftist agenda politicos have willing chosen to become "Political Enforcers".
Quite simple actually. More and more law abiding citizens, trust cops less and less, every year. Because cops have every year repeatedly proven themselves to be less and less TRUSTWORTHY.
That is totally the fault of "Your Special Class" embracing the "Us v Them" agenda.
What a hypoctie like you calls "paranoia". Citizens who have been your victims in the past call "Historic Memory".Comment
