How many times has CHP harassed you guys at a range? I've been shooting a long time now and have yet to be treated badly by LE at a range. Maybe I'm just lucky?

And my point wasn't that this is happening, my point was that the CHP can simply and readily identify SSE pistols if they want to, when they come in contact with pistols. Let's acknowledge that simple truth, and we can get back refuting or confirming the story line in the orginal post.

But your point has nothing to do with the actual story, which claims the CHP is AT THE RANGE just randomly confiscating SSE guns. Which then brings the question, how would the CHP know a gun is SSE while just practicing AT THE RANGE. Not sure why you feel you need need to "win" on this point, when it's a useless point taken out of context from the original fud story.

I'm a chippie and we do our monthly shoots at a private range. I can assure everyone that all but one or two of us just want to go home the other two just want more range time. The only thing that would concern us is the same that concerns anyone who uses a public range gross negligence.

When shooting my RAW's ( AK's and AR's with 30 and 40 round mags) at gun ranges, I have never been approached or questioned by law enforcement personnel that were present. I mind my own business and shoot responsibly

I always run my SSE handguns with the original SSE barrel, so I guess it has kept me out of jail. The other benefit is the 10" barrel length is accurate as hell

Plus if I was on a range where the CHP was shooting I'd not be bringing anything that looked suspect, like my hi Caps I've owned since 1970.
Why? Cuz I think CHP shoots on their own range not public ranges, at least I've never seen them on public ranges
