I'm not sure why people are bagging on the OP for taking training classes. I'm guessing most who are doing so have never taken any classes themselves.

Meh... If you're talking about the guy you see taking a picture at 1:13, it doesn't look like they are aiming anywhere near the guy. I wouldn't personally want to be standing there, but you made it sound like he was standing next to a target 50 yards down range, when he's just a few feet forward of the shooters.

The course is combat oriented and I suggest that if you think you can fight and survive without taking a class like this you are mistaken.

Well shucks, I had hoped that after shooting for 30 years, some action pistol, desert fun, etc., I would at least be proficient in defending the home-front in any realistic, but probably never to happen scenario.

Never gonna happen.
In a nationwide SHTF event the only people left standing will be true 'internet operators' that once attended a weekend course on tactically operating. Basically, we'll be Sparta from then on out.

What a total load of crap. Hundreds of thousands of people have been in fire fights without "tactical response " ..and lived. Hell look at syria, .....all of the middle east, Asia. ..even ww2, Russians conscipts...the list goes on.

Almost all practice and lessons can have a value, some more then others. Your week long course doesn't make you anymore a platoon leader then your neighbor or even an advantage in your fantasy of some rifle battle.

It almost seems like a pyramid scheme to sell memberships. So secret and mandatory if you want to "survive ".

This is almost better then Froglube guy who wanted to eat it all the time. But Froglube wasn't being negligent with lives if others.
