    * Creating and reinforcing perceptions of victimization;
    * Satisfying infantile claims to entitlement, indulgence and compensation;
    * Augmenting primitive feelings of envy;
    * Rejecting the sovereignty of the individual, subordinating him to the will of the government

            Guns protect my family.
            Guns are my right.
            I like target shooting.

            Guns are a hobby.
            Lots of people serving in law enforcement and the military are also musicians.
            I thought you were going to put that in some sort of verse and have a chorus... Thread FAIL...

              WTF does music have to do with guns? Ask him if he's always been retarded.

                  OK, this is a stretch.

                  Firearms and music are intimately connected -- in military bands.

                  Can't have massed military bands without military, can't have military without guns.

                  Then you wouldn't have this.

                  (The second tune -- "We're No' Awa' Tae Bide Awa'" -- is one of my favorite bagpipe tunes. When I was in Switzerland last summer, there were some street musicians on the "Marksman's Mile" -- the pedestrian zone in the nearby town, playing bagpipes. They must have read my mind, because before I could ask if they could play that tune, they started it on their own. And they were Swiss, not Scots).

                  And you wouldn't have Piper Bill Millin on Omaha Beach playing "The Road to the Isles."

                    Show him the end of "Gunga Din", or the start of Apocalypse Now. Toe tapping music if I ever heard some.

                      Wow.

                      I've played with my Johnson a few times in my life. I'm now confused, so perhaps all those people who said playing with your Johnson was OK were just guitarist.

                          And this dude,

                          Was not too shabby with a gun himself.

                          The NRA museum even has one of his Colt SAAs in their collection.

                          I don't think he loved music much though.

                            OP, if you died at noon today, would you feel good knowing you spent your last day arguing with an idiot on Facebook?
