Instead of just blowing the guy off, help him understand. People and life in general are multi faceted. I enjoy my guns but I also love my music and I play the Native American flute.

I believe David Crosby, arguably a poster child for the hippy generation and blessed with one of the finest voices in music, likes guns and fast cars as well.

Find examples of musicians and artists who like guns as well and point them out to him and start him thinking.

One can be anti-violence and still embrace guns. 'Seems like a serious contradiction but it's not.
