If I am there with people I know and trust to look after my stuff, sure, I'll pop out for a moment.

If I am alone, then hell no I will not be leaving thousands of dollars of my personal property amongst strangers. Particularly deadly personal property. Especially deadly, expensive personal property that is a proper ***** to replace with waits and paperwork... Eww.
So I was driving home from the range and I noticed that the scent of warm steel, burnt gunpowder and lukewarm coffee combined and smelled oddly of... Peanut butter?! Man, the Hoppe's is going to my head.

I like to shoot alone a lot of times. Less distractions lol.

I never leave my stuff - more so I absolutely do not put my gun on those racks. QD levers on optics are an easy target for a quick grab.

There are some ****ty people out there - watch your stuff.

That's how I got most guns.

At The Gun Range here in SD there is usually an rso on the range. I've left stuff in my truck after getting stuff out and ready to shoot. So I asked him to watch my guns for a moment and ran out got what I forgot and came back. It wasn't an issue.

I can't leave machine guns unattended so they go with me. Last time was Fathers Day when my son had me take him to the indoor range for the free Father's day special. I was able to have the wife watch the suppressors since they are on a trust but I had to carry my dealer sample AR15 into the mens room. I did not mind. I let all the kids on the range shoot a full auto .22 while the dad's took video.

I know these guns are insanely priced so I try my best to let kids try them. I want them to remember when they were young that machine guns did not hurt anyone. The AR is a perfect gun for kids. I can run it in .22 for 4 cents around and it is nearly impossible to damage anything or hurt anyone. It cost me about $40 in ammo that day but the smiles were priceless.

Cable lock is not a terrible idea If you go to ranges where you would worry about these things. Where I shoot, I keep a rifle slung and pistol holstered and there's never anyone within 500 yards. There would be bad times for any idiot dumb enough to drive up and try to snatch my stuff.

He wanted to buy my rifle. He was holding up money and his two buddies were smiling at me.

None of them spoke English very well and all looked as if they had just got off from a landscaping gig.

I told him no a couple times and then he tried to bribe me with a cold soda.

That was the last straw. He could have been decent and offered me a cold beer, so I called the Range Master over and he ran them off.

Livermore doesn't allow movement of guns in and out during ceasefire to prevent theft. Unaware of any there. Also have cameras covering the firing line.
Yeah, same here. Before USI closed, I would let an RSO know I would be right back and they were cool enough to hang out by my stuff till I got back. Never had an issue.
Havent been to Livermore, but I will when I can free up the time. Its a 2 hr round trip, so I need to go there on a weekday.

Never, I don't trust anyone, anytime, anyplace. I would never ask an RSO to watch my guns, that's not why they are there.
