Ya agree depends on the range. Chabot RSO's are like hawks watching the benches during cease fires, so if you even try to grab a tissue you will get an earfull from the loudspeaker....AWAY FROM THE BENCH, AWAY FROM THE BENCH.

Ive been to other ranges where there is absolutely no RSO usually, its self ran, and you ask everyone on the line if they want to go cold, and put up a red flag hoping everyone abides by it. I would not leave my rifles out in that situation.

Don't take a chance. Leaving guns unattended is not what I was taught.

Wife pissed me off last time we went to OC Indoor because she decided to sit in the truck and play with her phone rather than come inside.

The line was PACKED when I got there... whole room cleared out like magic once I started letting loose with the 45 and 357. Ended up with the place to myself, but was still looking over my shoulder between shots.
They clear out for that! At the indoor range near me it usually takes a couple of guy with brakes on their AR'S or AK's tearing it up at the 25 yard range.

I go to Chabot. I know that if some guy were to even come within 1' of my gun there would be yelling...so I go at ceasefires.
Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!

The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)

Happened to me twice shooting alone at Oaktree shooting steel.

I locked up my firearms, asked a range officer to watch my 'stuff', did my business and returned with a soda & chips from the vending machine to offer my thanks.

Never ever leave anything that can be easily carried out. Always use the buddy system ie friends or RSO. After pulling the final trigger on the sh--ter, wipe down, pull yo pants up and check your gear. Give chips or soda to RSO or donate your brass to their range and clean your area up before you leave.

I'll take my bolt with . mostly trust the guys when I'm alone. Make friends with fellow shooters. I'd watch theirs they watch mine.. Community works. and if 2 different guys are watching your stuff. Well it's very unlikely they are both bad

I'm a member of a private range so I'm usually the only one there. At a public range I'd pack it all up.

We get a 15 minute shooting period. Leave the Gun on the bench between the periods and you have a few minutes to do do. .. They cant touch any benched equipment during the change.

Ya... I've been next to a couple of 500's

Dunno... Place cleared out right after I started shooting.
An older couple came in maybe 20 minutes later (I was on the 9mm), she popped off a couple of mags, spoke with her companion about her accuracy, and they left.

I know OCI has a lunch rush... do they also have a similar rush after dinner? Might have been 6:30 or 7 when we were there.
Place was packed, then boom... everyone was gone.

Same here, and when I'm not alone. It's guys I've known for over twenty years. So yeah, I'll leave the guns laying out while I water the tree.
