Bathroom Break - Leave Guns at Range Bench?

I would NEVER under any circumstances leave a gun or any other equipment at a public range unattended. NEVER!!

^^^ This^^^^. Even if the RO was my BFF he has a much too important job to do and does not need the distraction of watchin my gear because I'm being lazy. I'll secure my gear and either take it with me or ask to put it behind the counter at the front desk.

I left my paper targets in the corner with my gear. I had to fill out some forms with the cashier. Someone tried to steal it. Maybe he was just confused. I don't know

Ok, but who will watch our guns while we're in the restroom... Oh wait

I would sooner leave $1000 on the bench than ANY of my guns. There are too many variables at a public range. I would not want one of my guns to fall into the wrong hands. Just not worth it. Visit nature prior to busting out the firearms. Bring a friend. Lock them all up prior to visiting the head. NEVER leave your guns unattended ANYWHERE.

I had an older Mexican gentleman hovering over me at the rifle range at Burro many moons ago. After about an hour of his antics I asked him what he wanted.

He wanted to buy my rifle. He was holding up money and his two buddies were smiling at me.

None of them spoke English very well and all looked as if they had just got off from a landscaping gig.

I told him no a couple times and then he tried to bribe me with a cold soda.

That was the last straw. He could have been decent and offered me a cold beer, so I called the Range Master over and he ran them off.

He's not much of a "gentleman".

I don't even ask a friend to watch. A guy at the club did that once during a match and guess what? Someone took one of his guns and now his friend who was watching his stuff isn't his friend anymore.
