EOTech Recall

Mailed sight to Eotech in Mid-December of 2015, arrived a few days later (tracking).
1/13/16 Eotech confirms receipt of sight.
2/16/16 Check arrived

Spent last night catching up on this thread. Saw that checks are arriving so decided to pull the trigger for my 512.A65. Sent the refund request this morning about 10am and recieved the refund approval at about 2pm today.will send tomorrow, hopefully the refund will be just as timely.

On a related note, when I pulled out the packaging I found my previous repair slips. Bought it in 2013. Sent in for repair in Jan 2014 for dead streaks in the screen (delam). Got it back and all was fine. Went to take it to the range in oct2014, found that the dead streaks had reappeared in different spots so I sent it back for repair in november2014. Here we are 15 months later and sending it back for refund.

I called twice and got the same response

They cannot tell me the status until the refund process is completed and to check back in a few weeks

12-24-15: Filled out the online RMA form.
01-06-16: Mailed my EOTech back.
01-11-16: EOTech received the package.
02-18-16: Called and received notice that my RMA was approved and we were waiting for a batch of checks to be written. I also received a RFB number and instruction to call back in a week or two if my check wasn't received.

Can someone take a pic of the envelop the check comes with? Does it say EoTech? I'm afraid I might overlooked it and threw it in the trash thinking it was junk mail.

The envelope is of a light cream color. I was able to see "EOTECH" inside the little window. If you just look to see who the envelope is from you shouldn't miss it.

My 2 units were sent in on 12/18/15. I received my check today. If you began the process early the total processing time is roughly 1.5-2 months.

the approval time after the request is submitted has drastically decreased to same day approvals..

i hope the rest of the process is speeding up... at this rate i shouldn't expect my check until early april... hope thats not the case

Thanks to Calguns or I would've missed this recall. I submitted my RMA request on 1/27 and received email approval about 10 days later. Just shipped it out today.

1/31/16: Refund request submitted for $1772.00 (exps3-0, g33, 512.a65)
2/8/16: Refund request approved
2/8/16: Package shipped insured for $2000 via USPS priority 2 day shipping
2/10/16: Package delivered to Eotech
2/17/16: Called Eotech and they are unable to give me a status and asked me to call back if i did not see a check in a few weeks.
2/18/16: Called Eotech again and got the same exact word for word response.

Why are you calling before you receive the confirmation email from EOTech that your units have been received and inspected?

They really won't have them in the system as received until then

They are not sending out a confirmation email for receiving your shipped sight any longer. They received mine Tuesday so I called them today and was told the above infomation.

Jan 15 received confirmation of receipt of sight.
Called today,check has not been shipped.

How did you get the G33 refund requested? It looks like they've updated the Refund Request page and there doesn't seem to be a way to request a refund on a G33 that was bought separately from one of their combo packages?

Interesting! Yea they changed it since when I did it!

When I submitted, you just typed in the model and serial number.. Now they have a drop down
