Correct range Etiquette?

Wise men seldom speak. - Arcus -
Since you are asking, to be honest, that would be weird. It isn't the gym where you work in on the same machine. You could time in when he is reloading or taking a break, but when I am shooting, the last thing I would want to be thinking about is when I can start shooting based on the other lanes.
The key for me when I am shooting is how much can I control my natural reflexes and still not anticipate, and still let the firearm "surprise" me. It is almost a zen kind of thing - Can you control your natural reflexes and anticipation, and shoot consistently and shoot accurately.
Shooting shouldn't be a distraction free environment, rather how much can you control your reflexes despite your distractions.
Plus, as I mention before, that's kind of weird to ask someone to take turns shooting. Kind of like if the neighboring lane were to say..hey dude..what's your sign??Comment

0o0o0 point her out to me please. I would like to uhm, get educted in what that might look like so that I can properly ID it inthe future...
OP: I saw this thread yesterday and I decided to not answer because I was gonna be mean.
And then I was at the Riverside shoot last night at RMR and I had THIS EXACT THING happen to me several times from a Glock shooting 9mm on my left. They had those BRIGHT assed SHINY cases too, they are all silver like and so shiny... They actually went up and OVER the divider and bounced off of my right wall and even hit me a few times as I was setting up my target and loading mags. My OCD was really kicking in and I lost concentration several times, but then I thought of you, and I smiled and I dealt with it because I was at a range where things make loud noises and throw little pieces of metal all over the place.
So, that is your answer. Deal with it.

I just wear a hat. The only time I really get bothered anymore is when someone is:
A) Hitting my target. Unless it's a simple case of "we have the same target."
B) Unexpected hella loud muzzle brake action. Until I figure out who it is, and time my shots accordingly.
C) Muzzle sweep.UnInexcusable.Comment

Oh no, that poor girl! I volunteer to apply any cream or lotion she prefers to help her in the healing process. I'm always ready to help a fellow shooter out...You don't pay a hooker for sex, you pay her to go away afterward...Comment

Was this at fieldtime? It sounds like exactly what goes on at fieldtime, but they like to set their targets up at 10 yards.Worse than this is shooting at the local indoor range which allows even rifle calibers. Last time I was there the guy next to me had a .308 AR with a muzzle break.I wanted to shove that AR where the sun don't shine Cus every time he fired it was like getting hit in the head with a rubber mallet. Not to mention the guy had a ridiculous scope, massive bipod, AND grip pod. And did I mention this is a 25 yard range? Just one of those moments where I would have liked to be able to put the guys gun down on the range and use it as a target. Just why?Comment
