    Thanks!

      LOL. Don't tempt fate.

I have 12g and 20g 9000's. Bought both used. The 20g was barely used but the 12g had seen more use. When I bought it, the pre-crimp had that issue. I tried reworking the hole with a soldering iron and any fix was VERY temporary.

Other than some adjustments, both are quite good machines.

I do wish some of the adjustments were more friendly. Like having to hold a screw with a screwdriver and the nut with a wrench, whereas if the frame was threaded the nut would just be a lock nut to hold adjustment vs. a fastener which determines the adjustment.

Previously I had Hornady Apex's in both gauges. Until the platen broke on the 12g. Great design, but poorly executed with too much plastic and pot metal. Still got 1000's of rounds, but since Hornady dropped the line despite their lifetime warranty I was SOL. Now that they're making 366's again (dropped off during the reloading famine to concentrate on bullets/ammo), they might offer some credit, but I already went MEC. The Apex's (12g and 20g...12 gauge with broken platen and appears the platten could be swapped) are for sale on here somewhere (been awhile). The 20g is fully operational.

I wonder if it's on purpose considering the bird flying high into the trap field right next to it. This is just Skeet field #1. I can't remember if Skeet field #2 having the same issue. Still not right even if they did do it for that reason.

I seriously doubt it is on purpose. The Trap field next to Skeet 1 is the one they use for Continental Trap, It doesn't get used nearly as much as the other ones.

If it was on purpose, that implies that it was done proactively. Never seen anything proactive there.

Oh how true. It's been a very long while since they have been run well.

Sad news is they put in a bid to operate Triple B Clays. As did Cory Moore and Pacific Sporting Arms. Triple B in the hands of BrokeTree would suck.

Miramar when it was San Diego Shotgun Sports would recal (hoop) the skeet fields regularly was a great place to shoot.

When shooting Skeet or Trap properly adjusted throwers are a must. Sadly some places don't see it that way. Joke Tree used to be pretty good, no longer the case, it's sad.

Yeah, it's been pretty hot lately, hard to want to go out and shoot.

Hell, I'm in my late 50's and cooler is best. I have never liked hot weather, give me temps in the 40's (tee shirt weather) and I'm happy.
