BS. They are the same type that will wait until the last possible moment to merge into an already backed up highway lane not wanting to wait in the same line as everyone else. Its the "all about me" mentality or like the same idiots who say they don't care about a new gun restriction because they already have theirs.

Same with the real estate flippers who buy out the market leaving those who have to buy houses with traditional loans without a fighting chance.

Every time I see someone on TV promoting a new 22 rifle or pistol as a great way to practice, I laugh. What a total joke 22 has become. I even ditched a brand new 22 pistol because I'm fed up of waiting for ammo. Easier for me to just shoot 40 cal.

You are a big part of the problem bro.............................
so what about everyone who had a huge supply BEFORE all this?

if you shoot exactly what you buy, youre doing it wrong. the problem isn't people like me and him, the problem is people LIKE YOU who complain they don't have any ammo and only buy exactly what they shoot.

WOW dude, angry much? I was taking a subtle dig at both sides of the argument.

If you don't have the number rounds you want, can't pay today's prices, and/or can't get lucky enough to find good prices, I say STFU and deal with it. Either go stand in line or use gunbot, or product arrival alerts. I get decent prices at Cabela's and Midway regularly with alerts. Don't have a credit card, tough schite, go stand in line.

On the other hand, you have no idea of the situation of those buying up ammo at Walmart etc. and selling it for profit. Maybe they have a night job or don't work Tuesdays. Maybe they had a good job and were laid off in a bad economy, and have a family to support and are finding ways to make money.

This is probably what it comes down to...

Need a .22lr fix? I back ordered a case (50 boxes) of CCI from Midway back in November 2012. It finally shipped about a month ago @ $0.065/rd. I guess I have enough that I could sell some at a good mark up. But sorry.....

sweet gonna buy it all up and sell it for 15 cents a round!!!!
seriously... If you got caught unprepared for am ammo shortage, chalk it up to a lesson learned, and if you haven't stocked up on other necessities for unplanned events better get busy. I will be selling gas and food at ridiculously high prices for those who didn't have enough sense to prepare themselves when the next earthquake hits. Clean water?? maybe if you have kids. But mine and my family and neighbors come first. Need windows boarded up at your business??? I will have that handled too. It's gonna cost.

Define hoarding...... I have over 15,000 rounds in reserve and that's just .22 ammo I will let my kids shoot. I have another 8,000 of mid to high end match
.22. I am still buying because when or if the ammo law goes through, I will never have to buy ammo in this state again. I also sold a bunch of stuff off I had bought when the first panic set in, and turned a nice profit on it. Not one person complained when they got their ammo in their hot little hands. In fact they were ecstatic to have it. I think it all comes down to people are insulted at the prices.

And that would be a decent deal compared to four months ago.

Regarding Walmart limits, my Walmart here in Alabama has limited .22 ammo to one box per person per day. You are still limited to 3 boxes overall. So you can get 1 box of .22 and 2 boxes of any other caliber(s).
I could care less since I don't even own a .22 (yet I still have .22 in my stash
). I was just happy to see 9mm at Walmart for the first time in 6 months.

Guess I was lucky. I got 6 boxes of CCI standard Velocity (50rd boxes) from Walmart on Saturday. 3 boxes from Poway and 3 from Aero. $20ish for 300 rds of CCI is pretty good in these lean times.

I guess I better not post how much .22lr ammo I have. I would be stoned, tarred and feathered and run out of town. Still buying it by the case. I don't flip it, I shoot it at my range 3 times a week.
