It's funny that everytime Walmart gets a truck, especially with 22lr, it shows up on Craigs list and on here. Where I'm at its allways the same guys showing up for it and I'm starting to think they don't even shoot. In fact I've found some of them selling it on here. This is why ammo, 22 for that matter, will never sit on the shelf. Guys like me have to buy as often as we can so we don't end up having to buy from these clowns. It's a damn shame cause even with the hoarding going on there would be some ammo sitting on the shelves. Stop buying from the flippers and they will drop out.

Meh...this has been covered ad nauseum. There are two schools of thought. Those who think like you, and those who are taking advantage of a tight market to maybe make a profit. Lotta work for a few bucks since the online supply is loosening up."I don't work for you!" - Joe Biden

Unfortunately, that will never happen. There are far too many people that need the ammo and have the funds to pay the price. It is what it is...*********************
WTS:
1. PW 800+ Hydro Multispeed (just the hydraulic unit that also works with Spolar press)
2. PW 800B converted to 800C (12 gauge) with lots of accessories and upgrades
3. Hornady 366 (12 gauge)

I really wish people would buy what they feel they want/need for themselves and didn't feel the need to make a buck off their fellow shooters but sadly you cant legislate morality. BTW, Im speaking as a shooter who doesn't buy at local box stores but buys cases 1k-5k rds at a time online and its for my personal stash. I don't normally sell ammo.Comment

I suggest to .22 shooters to just buy in bulk.
I buy cases at a time. You'll have to spend 200-500 depending upon the ammo, but can shoot for a looooong time before you have to buy again.
Also, it's actually cheaper to buy in bulk.Comment

all the american producers cci, federal, olin, remington is running at capacity
it seems like they should all open another plant they thought it would blow over in a couple months and wouldn't have been worth the capital expense
if they knew then it would have gone on this long they would have jumped on it and the only thing now preventing them is the thought is it could blow over any weekComment

Where do you buy bulk? Feel free to PM me.Comment

Why would they care? They can just increase the price of their ammo then and sell for more.all the american producers cci, federal, olin, remington is running at capacity

Look at a company like debeers (the diamond b*stards). Keep supply low/steady and crank up profits per unit of production.
It won't lose them customers to increase the price, so why would they try and increase supply and risk the capital expenditures of more machines/rent/labor?==================
