I came to this thread looking to find where I might find "in stock" ammo and have to sift through 30 layers of off topic BS just to get a whiff of what this thread is actually about. Sad...Pathetic and even more sad. Like teenage girls.

Can the mods start cleaning this up. Just start passing out suspensions and bans to those that want to argue, regardless of if they are a contributor or "newb"? Regardless of if they have been in this thread for 100 pages or 1 page.

To those actually passing on information I say thank you. The rest of you need to get your priorities right. Are we not all here in this thread for the same reason?

It's bizarre. People see a good thing, they don't really understand why it works, they try to change things. Never mind that there are reasons things are set up as they are, but they can't be bothered to figure out why. I think this latest crowd is by far the worst though - this is the first time it's devolved into outright sabotage.

The mods allowed chitchat in the very beginning then got tired of the wasted bandwidth w/having to wrangle the grade-school mentality...

Wow this thread has evolved a ton just today! I've been watching off and on since October and it has stayed pretty consistent, but the 22 shortage is on going, no end in sight, and has certainly gotten worse. When I started checking links here you had a good 10-15 minutes, sometimes more to grab ammo from a fresh link. Now they are going out of stock almost instantly, especially the buckets. This has actually been an interesting online social study. Combine the hoarders, flippers, shooters, panickers and you have a buy frenzy. More and more people find out about these ammo threads, Facebook groups eventually get started and are now thousands of buyers strong. There is no end in sight here. This has actually been really interesting. If I was still in college id write a paper lol.

I have actually been looking into an alternative round but as long as I can get a brick here or there for me and a few friends, 22 is still the cheapest by far. What are you gonna do shoot 17? Go 223? Stick to the pistol?

Oh btw, I have 17 CCI blazer bricks in stock!!! These are the bad boys that the Canadian FBI uses!!! Each brick is $194, that is a friggin deal for calgun members only! Get me before they are gone!!!

Midway USA emailed me they are shipping Bucket Of Bullets backordered on October 25...almost 5 month wait, but will be less than .06/rd at doorstep...anyone else get similar news re: BOB ordered back then?

I just cancelled a b/o of bullets from midway ordered oct 28. I have plenty ,thanks to this forum, and was the last one to pass on the bucket 2-3 days ago. I did post for everyone else, so they could get theres. This was just before the FB explosion. Let it be noted. Thanx to all that helped me become ammo indepependant, maybe for life! Man, this seems like a ****load of work you guys go through for .22. I'm that much more glad the Walmart on my way home from work works out for me. After shipping (Shipping prices for ammo prices are inflated aren't they?) Do you guys even save any money doing this instead of buying from the gougers? How much and is it worth the hassle? I've tried the links a few times when it's convenient.. no dice.
