Okay, what does everyone's crystal ball say that's going to happen tonight at Gander. Last night was a bust, unless I missed it and the posts.

Yup. From just this morning. Whatever. I just keep taking shots in the dark, take what I get, and have fun doing it. Like playing magic 8-ball. Shouldn't be as much fun as it is...

Talking about Remington or others? I've only seen that with Remington myself, and yeah, that doesn't exactly instil confidence.

What you can do that has worked for me in the past is actually call cabelas and place a phone order. Just give the guy the item number. I have about a 50/50 cxl rate right now if I order through site but 100% go when I phone order. YMMV but it works for me and I have done it at 5 times

we never had the problems in CA till the whiteys took over. We used to hunt, fish, roam, then they showed up and wanted to be civilized.............Ruined it for everyone!

This is the first time I've been the canary, but I've had a couple times when others reported canceled and mine canceled later on. Had that happen on the blazers from yesterday. I wouldn't bank on them. It'll be interesting to see if the single box orders go through this time since the multi box orders went through before.

Agree completely, especially in .22. When you have to fire 5 times at a cows head to put it down, when a cci 22 takes 1, priced the same, I'll take cci, winchester, federal, or any others over Remington any day.
It takes one to know one.

I like their Yellow Jackets and Vipers but those are specialty rounds and not for plinking.

                    I've started watching Gander...Win 555's, buckets, Fed 525's and Rem 525's.

I've never gotten in on it...any hints & tips?

                    EDIT:
I mean, it is almost 8pm CT...I'm already watching....

Walmart in West Covina @ the Eastland has ammo!!! I just picked up a box of 90 rounds American eagle 5.56 clipped ammo. They have 223 from various makers. 308, 7.62 and on and on!! I was shocked on how much they have. It's still 3 boxes per customer but oh well. Mine came out to .52 cents per round... not to shabby considering.
                        200 bullets at a time......

I was at Las Vegas over the weekend and visited several gun stores in the area. Visited 7 gun shops to drool and looking for 22lr ammo and 10 round ar15 magazine, thinking that I might have better luck. No 22lr ammo anywhere except one store. That was the good news. The bad news was the price that store was asking. Can you believe that they are asking for...

$85 per brick (500 rd) for Armscor 22 LR

I realize that it is their right as a business to ask for any price they want but $85 seems too excessive.

And frankly there are only two dicks allowed on CGN, ivanimal and me.
Ivan very rarely exercises his prerogative however.

Next time save you money instead of going to those parking lot flea markets that they call "gun shows" in LV. Been there, done that for 12 years. A dollar off the $12-15 admission, $5-$6 bucks for parking, just to walk up and down isles of candy, belt buckles, hats, a zillion old magazines and bags no one wants, and knives, let's not forget the knives. Some old guns that you would be afraid to shoot, and of course the inflated ammo. This is what a gun show at Cashman is all about. You'd have been much better off if you visited the 20 Walmarts looking for ammo, or even the Bass Pro at Silverton.
