They certainly aren't my favorite but I've never had problems with them till I opened the last brick. Only seven out of ten will go bang on the first try. Most will on the second but what fun is that? I'm hoping this is limited to just the one brick. Two years ago they were bleep. Then they were "improved". Just speaking for myself, they shoot fair in my handguns. The "rotating" bullet jams frequently. What I absolutely hate about them, try shooting them at 50 or 75 yards with a rifle, any rifle. Out of ten shots, you will have three that won't even hit somewhere in the range. Another two will hit your target, somewhere, and the other 5 somewhere around the bulls eye. With CCI 40 gr or Fed 810, or better ammo, I'll have a three inch circle for ALL ten shots. I can, will, and do, spend the extra bucks for CCI and others.
Everyone gun is different, and every shooter wants different results from their handgun or rifle. I shot many thousands of rounds of Rem GB before I moved on. For fun and the price, you can't beat it, unless of course you constantly have jams. If I had kids, I would have them use Rem GB's all the time. But, there is better for those who want it.Comment

Ya that's weird then my rifles (10/22 TD, ruger American rim fire) seem to like them just fine with no jams and are M.O. jackrabbit out in the desert. I'm getting free standing shots on these bunnies right where they should be out to 75yards max. Haven't shot one past that these have been my go to's when I go hunt.Originally posted by OHODI guess I could rub my muff against his exwifes muff. we never had the problems in CA till the whiteys took over. We used to hunt, fish, roam, then they showed up and wanted to be civilized.............Ruined it for everyone!Comment

I've never seen a single round whose bullet didn't spin freely. That's part of the problem.I had some where the crimp was so bad that the bullet spun loosely in the case, and could be deflected a couple of degrees. 10/22 was OK with it; Mosquito had loading problems (and really does not on any other ammo). Hopefully the 'new and improved' addresses those issues.Actually Sue's Husband

I thought they were supposed to do that on all 22's until I started getting some better stuff. When I started to buy CCI's for example I would sit there and TRY to spin it to see if it would.Originally posted by OHODI guess I could rub my muff against his exwifes muff. Never had quite that server of problems, but there isn't a caliber Remington makes that I don't consider bottom shelf if not trash. Most things they make have competitors in the same price point that do much better. I have some GBs just because that is what came in stock, but I prefer most anything else and I use the GBs for general blasting (like doing close range AR stuff and teaching kids just to be safe with a rifle). I would never use any Remington ammo for hunting or personal defense. Two years ago they were bleep. Then they were "improved". Just speaking for myself, they shoot fair in my handguns. Talking about Remington or others? I've only seen that with Remington myself, and yeah, that doesn't exactly instil confidence.Up for rent...Comment

Sorry, eating dinner. I was saying of all the rounds I have, only Rem spin freely. I'm not saying it's bad, only different. When loading my clips, I do find some rounds where the bullet is just about ready to fall out. As someone else mentioned, it is able to angle in such a way that it will not chamber.Never had quite that server of problems, but there isn't a caliber Remington makes that I don't consider bottom shelf if not trash. About other Remington, my wife actually likes their green box 380 rounds, and I've never had a problem with the yellow box 250 rounds. I also buy Rem in 9 mm which, though I don't shoot much of it any longer, I never had a problem with it in my Sig.Actually Sue's Husband
