Ammo Finds - Post them here

Next time save you money instead of going to those parking lot flea markets that they call "gun shows" in LV. Been there, done that for 12 years. A dollar off the $12-15 admission, $5-$6 bucks for parking, just to walk up and down isles of candy, belt buckles, hats, a zillion old magazines and bags no one wants, and knives, let's not forget the knives. Some old guns that you would be afraid to shoot, and of course the inflated ammo. This is what a gun show at Cashman is all about. You'd have been much better off if you visited the 20 Walmarts looking for ammo, or even the Bass Pro at Silverton.

I should clarify the previous post.
I was already in Vegas for a business and didn't go there just to look for some ammo. I got bored so I was driving around to burn some time. But, I will follow your suggestions and check them out.

My Blazer and Ar Tactical (2 of 3 items) order got canceled from this morning I had added 2 boxes of Federal .223 and tried to cancel the order but they said it was too late so I'm paying $5.95 shipping for the 40 rounds of .223

My AR tac says in process, bank account was already hit as well.
But its weird because My CCI swamp people says backorder, but they hit my bank for that one as well.

Well to keep it rimfire appropriate Remington has a recall on .22 ammo. There was a notice on the ammo case at Walmart.

Was briefly at Cabelas Reno today, 4 500 round cans of SK 22lr was ALL they had and around $60 ea to boot! I think that's more than what we paid few months ago for the same item from Graf & Sons.

I've started watching Gander...Win 555's, buckets, Fed 525's and Rem 525's.

I've never gotten in on it...any hints & tips?

You're saying you haven't bought from Gander online before? If not, go there now and create an account. Then do a "dummy" checkout with something you have no intention of buying. Enter your address and SAVE it. I believe you can do the same thing with a credit card number, but not sure if that will save until you get through 1 transaction. As you're going through your actual transaction, make sure you enter your phone number. At the last screen be sure and check the box to verify that you're 21 or older.

Anyone else have this problem - Log into Gander and if inactive, I get logged out after a few minutes. I've trashed the Gander cookie thinking that would solve the problem within the browser...but I still get logged out.

Happens to me all the time. What really bugs me is that I get a pop-up that says I'm about to be logged out, and has a "continue session" button. If I click that button, it logs me out anyway.
