        Dead serious. It's already happening.

Pallets of bricks at Bass Pro. I can get ammo just about any morning at Walmart in HB. And a lot of it makes it to the shelves long after the marauding zombies disappear. But I don't go there anymore because I can get it delivered to my doorstep for a few bucks more.

Anyone who has a hard time finding low priced .22lr is either lazy or blind.
I said it earlier, it's catching up. By the way, the entire gunbot page is still in stock. The signs are everywhere.

And I hate to break the news to the hoarders, but .22lr is NOT gold.
In 20 years it will probably still go pop pop, but it may also go fizz fizz, in which case you will have a lot of bean bag filler.

And don't accuse the manufacturers of raising their prices. Fed bricks at Wally for 20 bucks. Hell Yeah baby !
I think it only proves people have stopped paying those prices because they have ran out of income tax money.

The shelves may fill up but it will takes months, not weeks.

I think it is making a comeback, albeit, very slowly. What you failed to mention
Though, is if you look at gunbot during a weekday, and click the out of stock icon, everything below .13cts a rd sells out quickly, sometimes in minutes.

On another forum someone posted that they are seeing it comeback, as per ammospy.net. The prices, according to their graphs, show the supply coming back. It's probably several months away before you can walk in anywhere, and buy as much as you want, anytime you want, but it will happen, just like
It happened to 223, 9mm, etc. Economics show that once the hoarders have
Hoarded all they want, and the flippers margins compress, equilibrium will be restored........remember $2000 DPMS ARs during the panic? You can buy them for under $600 now. It will be interesting to see when things normalize. As to when it will happen, it's anyone's guess.

Cheapest I see on gunbot is .13 a round. Most casual shooters including myself dont buy the expensive stuff. Haven't seen a brick at any of my Walmarts in a long long time.
Me thinks you are whistling in the dark.
The only amazing thing is the manufacturers haven't jacked prices up when they could easily put the squeeze on us.

I was surprised to find .22 on the shelf yesterday when I stopped in Ukiah. It was around noon and there wasn't much left but I got 2 boxes.

In the Bay Area anyway nobody has bulk 22 in stock and until I can go on midway and buy 5000 rounds of mini mags for 350 whenever I want then the "shortage" is still on. My buddy in Alaska and one in Texas both have trouble finding 22 in stock also it is all over the nation the shortage is over my ***

                        .
Just last Sunday the HB Walmart had 40 bricks of the Fed 550. I'm sure someone else here saw it.

                          *crickets*

Honestly, I'm having a hard time believing it even though you have no reason to make it up.

My local WM only gets ~10 bricks at a time, and there's ALWAYS a line of people that have been waiting for over an hour.

Same here, our Walmart gets "maybe" 1 case at a time and even then it's only 1-2 times a week.

Not sure where you live or shop, but you can't go anywhere and find 9mm here. If you do see if chances are they are small boxes and priced well above bulk pricing. 223 is more common, but again close to double the per round price of buying bulk.
