I did post this info in the 2A section, so that everyone is aware that something is very wrong here. You would think that to make such a blanket embargo that everyone at Gander would be in the loop. Not just a "Oops, that darn new Order Taker Supervisor sorta goofed up again".

My big question is what prompted this? Do you think it was maybe that Glock guy and his 6 million rounds of .22? Just thinking out loud here.

Hey calm yourself I only have actually placed one order from Gander for 1000 rounds of CCI SV. I see what your getting at though, a majority of the internet "panic buying" is probably coming from CA. Maybe Gander was just getting too many orders from CA.

I just called Gander Mountain and was told there was a new law that went into effect on 10/01/13 that makes it illegal to ship ammo to California, there are other vendors that will ship to California and that their Legal Department is looking into the matter.

I emailed Gander as I was about to spend some nice $$. I let them know that I would like to buy from them but can't support a company that boycotts shipping ammo to CA statewide. Here is their response.
