New member here. Been lurking for a couple of weeks. I also tried to order some ammo from Gander this morning and got the same message. I called customer service and was told "sorry, we were told there's a new law which doesn't allow any ammo to be shipped to California". Seems like the CS reps are powerless and just following orders. She didn't seem to be willing to do much, even as far as talking to her superiors.

I'm planning to call back several times, and hope to get a new rep each time. I figure by driving up the volume of calls, someone will take notice and take some action.

Yeah, I think it's only on some ammo. I just went through the whole process up to where you enter your CC info and they never said that they won't ship to me.

I put in a box of 9mm Federal and i live in Ontario.

Could it be that Gander has placed California shipping restrictions on Hollow Points only, thinking that these are only used for hunting? Based on the recent posts, it seems as if Round Nose doesn't have the new California restrictions.

Not shipping to the megalopolisis' of LA or San Fran is one thing, but not shipping to ALL of California is just wrong and scares me about the future.

I just emailed them and asked for the law or bill number they are using to implement these new California restrictions. Doubt if I'll get an answer but it's worth a try.
