re: the 10/22. It's nice to break them in with something in the higher velocity ranges. CCI Mini Mags are pretty much the classic round and not TOO difficult to get.

Hey all, I just recently purchased my new Ruger 10/22 synthetic rifle and I have been warned that finding the ammo's for this particular rifle is not that easy. Could anyone help me out on scoring a 50-100 rounds, LA area if possible.

welcome to the group... if you look at post # 13734, goodoljake says "Turner's Outdoorsman Fountain Valley has the federal bricks..." and we later learned that they were $32.99, which is the same price Turner's in Victorville was charging for the 1000 boxes they had on Friday.
I am NOT saying you will be able to find them still at the FV Turner's but apparently Turner's has received a large shipment and you might be able to find some at a local store near you.
Then there is always Walmart while you wait for things to break loose here...

FWIW, there have been instances in the past when Turners offered a great price on ammo (or other item) due to a grand opening, that item at the 'grand opening' price was quietly available at most other locations.

Broke my new Maverick 88 out of jail Sat @ Turners in FV and snagged a 525 Fed Brick.

FWIW I just recieved a shipping notice from midway. This is a case (5250rds) of fed 745s. I had 1 of the last back orders that they took. So what I am saying is they may be about ready to release them for sale. Good luck as I am flush w/22lr and wont be competing w/y,all for new stock. BiggB
