        .22LR Ammo Wanted

Hey all, I just recently purchased my new Ruger 10/22 synthetic rifle and I have been warned that finding the ammo's for this particular rifle is not that easy. Could anyone help me out on scoring a 50-100 rounds, LA area if possible.

        Thank you,

I understand there are some pissed off customers, and they probably have a right to be, but just in my experience alone, CTD has been good to me and dealt with any issues in an upstanding way.
Very cool. We found the one CTD customer that is happy... Glad you have had good dealings with them. As for me I'm with the majority and they get none of my money.

Its more than just "customer service" with CDT. I think you guys are missing the bigger picture

CTD can SMD, then take a 2 foot long cactus and SIUTA, as well as these other greedy *** places we so often see.

Cheaper Than Dirt set a new standard for price gouging during this ammo "shortage." Call it "capitalism" if you want, but there's more to good business than maximizing profit. They took advantage of their customers (us) in the worst way. That strategy was shortsighted, though. I will never send them a dime for as long as I live, and I know I'm not alone. Sure, they are free to charge whatever they want for the products they sell, but I am also free to spend my money elsewhere -- even after ammo becomes plentiful once again and their prices come back down to Earth. Surplus Ammo is also on my permanent boycott list. For me, it's just a matter of principle.

On the flip side, Cabela's has earned my loyalty for what they did for us as customers during this time. They passed up the short term profits as part of a longer term business strategy, and hopefully it will pay off for them over time. They certainly made a customer for life out of me.

Same here, I was on travel in St. Louis and I made a point out of going to Cabela's for a few "travel Gifts".

Welcome to CalGuns RBGRuger! Pull up a chair and stay awhile.

This thread requires dedication. Unless you get very lucky you have to stay here every waking hour, waiting for the tip on .22 in-stock online somewhere. You have to pounce on it quick, credit card in hand. It will sell out in 1 to 10 minutes.

You might find some good tips on ammo in Brick and Mortar stores too.

Broke my Fire Can cherry today. Happy to have them, but no explanation point as it was not what I was expecting. Specifically both cans are dented pretty good. Like when you see the 50 cent sign on a cart full of dented tuna and tomato sauce at the grocery store. Anyone else's Natchez shown up that way? Btw, they were well packaged so it was definitely pre-shipment damage.

Welcome and enjoy your stay. I was able to score 6,000 rounds in the last month due to this thread. I have three girls that I have purchase 22 rifles for and I just wanted to make sure they have ammo to shoot. Stay on top of this thread and you should be able to secure more than a few K for yourself.
