Not sure how my post would constitute "whining." If you bought from CDT, more power to ya. I've stopped wasting my time clicking on links to their site.Comment

Turner's Outdoorsman Fountain Valley has the federal bricks. Making me wait in line at the gun counter. Totally lame. Probably take a half hour.

There should be no reason to buy from cheaper than dirt. You buy from them you betray us

The few transactions I've had with Cheaperthandirt have been very good. On one occasion, an item I bought from them had a manufacturer's defect, I called in, they were easily contacted, and without much fuss, the problem was remedied. I would order from them again any day.Comment

jake, can you let us know how much they are selling those bricks for? Thanks ...Comment

CTD can have CCI 22LR at two cents/round and I wouldn't bite. Too many orders from them on 'sale priced' items have been cancelled a day or two later due to being oos. I believe they're just trying to generate traffic to their site which ultimately helps them get more favorable pricing from vendors.
I'd rather my dollars go to a company I respect. As a society, we have to hold businesses accountable to maintain, at the least, minimal moral and ethical values..

CTD is blackballed for a number of very good reasons. There are entire threads on why, but the short of it is they don't deserve online business from self respecting customers. I've actually heard good things about their physical store, but online, they are and should be pariah.Up for rent...Comment

Yep, just re-confirmed their shady tactics. Had them on the phone the second the cans showed in stock and had been going in and out of stock over and over. He let it slip that they didnt actually have any in stock, yet site was still showing, then hurriedly tried to hide it and sell me on the .40 c a round eley they have.Comment

I've had this happen to me at Cabelas, Midway and a number of other vendors I can't even count, in this industry and others... showing in stock on the site, but actually OOS. In fact, as much as I like Cabela's, I've been inconvenienced more than a few times by funds that were withheld on my account on something that's actually not in stock.CTD can have CCI 22LR at two cents/round and I wouldn't bite. I understand there are some pissed off customers, and they probably have a right to be, but just in my experience alone, CTD has been good to me and dealt with any issues in an upstanding way.Last edited by caliberetta; 02-22-2014, 6:09 PM.Comment

As have I but I have to give Cabela's, Midway, Gander and even LuckyGunner kudos. 98% of my orders with these vendors go through. Just the opposite occurs with CDT. As always, YMMV.I've had this happen to me at Cabelas, Midway and a number of other vendors I can't even count. Showing in stock on the site, but actually OOS.
