Actually of the three, gander has the best overall shipping IF you order more than $50. Free shipping, and if you order more than one type of ammo, the $9 surcharge is spread out over more ammo.
This makes them a better option for shipping anyway...Packaging, NOW THATS SOMETHING ELSE

Agree the more you buy the price per round goes down with the shipping spread out. Sample below from an earlier post of mine of 10 boxes of minimags before Midway cut their limit to 5.

My shipping at Midway has been mostly 16 for most orders and that's with other items inside the package too. Most I've paid in shipping to them was around $19 for a package a little over 20lbs. I'm guessing my shipping to my area is a little more merciful than other locations.

Gander I noticed that when I pick up at a Fed-ex hub, the packages are intact and the boxes are fine. When I let it go all the way to my doorstep the boxes are usually beat up.

Your comment is not very capitalistic in nature. Are you a socialist? Kidding, but that seems to be the sentiment around here. There is no way you could expect them to do this and keep the prices the same. There'd be thousands of orders sitting on shelves. They'd need a lot of extra space. A typical order consists of picking the material and putting it in an appropriate sized box. Your method would require a second pick and likely a new box size.

Got my Cci mini mags this morning in one piece. It was a ridiculously oversized box with paper stuffing but they were strapped together and all in one piece

Now lets see how the 235 rd boxes of of Winchester show up tomorrow.

I think your use of "tons" might be a slight exaggeration, considering how fast they disappeared. Some of us others want some hot bucket action, too! LOL

Perspective is all it is.... I consider it a friggin' miracle that I was able to snag a couple buckets and even passed up two opportunities to get more! I kick myself now, but I was low on scratch for a couple more, at the time.

Mini Mags

Oaktree Gun Club in Newhall has minimags. $15 per 100rd box. I passed on them at almost double the market price. They had a whole bunch on the counter if anyone is hard up for them.
