I used to love midway but with the ultra high unreasonable shipping these days and now the goofy ordering system where it sends you an email that you have to go check to verify your order before it will let you proceed I really hate shopping there.

Larry Potterfield are you out there cuz that's the way it is.

I don't really know what their policy is, but I returned a box of damaged ammo a while back and got it replaced with an undamaged box. It can't hurt to ask.

Funny, because I have never had to verify a order from Midway via email.

I am thinking if enough of us email and call complaining about the shipping costs, they might lower them. I think anything over $10 is unreasonable shipping for 500 rounds of .22 lr ammo, period.

Hopefully Midway changes their limit of 1 to limit of 2 on bricks of .22 lr soon.

You can over think it and justify buying ammo cause you haven't scored lately... but it is much more effective to just decide on a cost per round you are willing to pay, and stick to it.

If you are ok paying .106 per round, go for it. Buying extra stuff from Midway doesn't help me because I probably would have bought it from Amazon Prime shipped two-day for free (or NOT AT ALL, which is just silly - buying more stuff I don't need). If I buy 500 Mini-mags and the shipping is $19, adding shoot-n-c's and a pellet trap doesn't make me feel much better so I don't do it. Do what you like, but it all comes down to price per round DELIVERED.

If you are setting a quota for yourself per week like Glock21, more power to you. But have faith that you will have a HUGE week to make up for your slow ones if you stick to your price per round. When I posted a few pages ago that I scored xxx number rounds in 3-4 weeks, that was my point. You can do very well in a short period of time - I am encouraged to do better when I see others post their success. I was proud that I had managed to add so many and reach my goal. If it was douchey, I apologize to those regular contributors I offended.

Add me to the list that are offended by people who never post even ONE find coming in yelling for Moderators to apply rules to a thread that works. Sorry if this post sets off your email alert so you can't sit back and collect our finds. Cut the chit chat and get back to preparing guys, but don't post how well you did a particular week - the haters who put no time into finding stuff on their own will get 'cha.

i dont think midway will ever drop their shipping rates. they have been around for a long time, have plenty of business and for the most part great customer satisfaction. yeah it sure would be nice but there are plenty of other places to shop online to get actual bulk ammo shipped to you at a reasonable price. i know there is a lot of 22 ammo better than others but IMO anything over 8 cents for .22 is just too much. others say 5-6 cents but those are hard to come across these days, definitely have to be the early bird or just get lucky. i try and stick around 7 cents or less when FTF and especially online.

edit- i could see the limit going up to two depending on the outcome of the new year though.

I don't like Midways shipping prices, but ultimately I am willing to pay .10 cents a round shipped for .22 lr ammo. I prefer cheaper, but will not pass up most bricks in stock at Midway.

It beats wasting time, gas and the hasstle of playing musical Big 5s, WalMarts, and gun stores. Spending a little more than I should on .22 lr is worth it to ensure I can enjoy shooting for years to come regardless of what laws are passed.

Now we're wasting chitchat, bragging, and complaining about shipping, all in less than one page. Careful, all the no find posting subscribers are going to get some panties in a wad. After I get my 10 boxes of AR tactical from gander, I'm only in it for entertainment.
