They added some lightweight uppers but a lot more than the $380 sale price - all these have phosphated bolts too, in case you are holding out for Stainless:

Looks like a great upper... I'd prefer that to my A3 with front sight, except for the weight since I went with a light weight CMMG one.

Reviews are right, and price is right. The only thing I'd wonder about is the BCG compared to CMMG.

**bolt group is not compatible with CMMG type, catch22 BHO, etc... and upper is specific to .22

They also have the CF500-057 Chiappa .22 upper for CHEAP - $265, but this is the model hat comes with 28 round mag, so I dunno what can be done about that unless they would just remove it. Some places will not do that. Chiappa has a CF500-056 kit that includes a ten rounder.

Midway is charging too much to ship 1 box of ammo. I'm not going to add products I dont need to make me feel better, while in the end, you end up spending more money buying overpriced crap you don't need. I'll buy from gander and cabelas but not midway.

Agreed that is why i try and have something i need in the cart so it ships under that shipping price it helps when you need something and ammo you can justify the shipping price more...

Also i will in this thread more i subscribed last night and when i got in today 14 messages in my Mail inbox "responded to Ammo finds"... haha the earlier people were right but all is well...hope to get some good ammo finds in the future to shoot through my new .22lr!

Please, the price per round comparison has been extensively discussed, see below.

I'd gladly order from all 3 places, but prefer gander if my order is more than $50 because free shipping.

I've never had to verify an e-mail before it let me finish ordering.

I agree with you that shipping is very high on just one brick of ammo and it’s not a deal. But there are ways around that. You can't let yourself get fixated on the shipping charge either.
OMG Cabelas is super OMG $5 shipping and Midway sux shipping is $16.

Example the ever popular CCI Minimag 40gr CPRN. Here’s the math for an order of 5 (Midway’s max limit used- Shipping is to my doorstep YMMV)

Store –-> Price/100*5 + Shipping etc = Total
Cabelas --> $8.99*5 + $5 Shipping = $49.95
Gander --> $7.49*5 + at least $7 Shipping + $9 ammo surcharge = $53.45
Midway --> $6.69*5 + 16 shipping = $49.45

Price per round is better as max limits go up.

No one is making any money pimping out Midway, Cabelas, or any other company here, just sharing finds. Everyone has their own comfort level and goals here on buying. So everyone do whats best for you.
