Well, it's that and they're just sticking it to you guys because of your demand for them. They are definitely overcharging you for the pistols.

The GSG 1911s have always been $319 - $329 out here (even when they first came out) and now they're down to $299 at one of the larger, local places. (Fin, Feather and Fur)

The few changes that they have had to make to sell the gun in California cannot justify a $100.00 increase in cost. You all should take a stand.

maybe once they stay on the shelves for a while the prices will go down. once turners has theirs and sells them at 350 soon everyone else will fallow.

I'd be willing to put half down for one. How much are they quoting as far as pricing?

I had to cancel my order for the ISSC M22 once I saw this thread. Waiting for my local FFL to get some in stock. Hopefully riflegear or OC Armory will be willing to get some and sell for about $325-$350

So I just held one at the Ontario gun show, it felt great, but the dude wanted 469!!!!! Crazy, ifit would have been 369 I would have pulledthe trigger but damn that's a ripoff. It was the only one I saw there too.

I just checked on the ATI with Turners and they are taking pre-orders. They are, however, quoting around 700 something for it! Unless the kid behind the counter was on drugs that day I will be skiping the ATI.

Divide that in half, broham. Pre-orders are $349.99.

                      Ok, ok...

I broke down and bought one today from the only shop that had them (and seemed willing to sell one). I was getting really discouraged with the folks here in NCal giving me the "we'll get them if we get them" attitude. Once again Calgunners to the rescue!
$339 + Tax and Fees came to just shy of $400.

Picked up a couple extra mags from GSG5rife.com. Not really a savings on the price BUT the 2.99 flat rate shipping saves some overall costs.

I am really happy with it, felt it out and knew right away I had to buy it. They did not have the railed version available. It was actaully a pleasant trip over the hill, one of the "regulars" @ the shop owns a Chiappa 1911, and some of the other guys and I started discussing the other .22 options (Browning 80%, Chiappa, Kimber conversion, & the Colt/Umarex version, etc) and came to the end the conversation that this .22 was not the usual 1911 clone.

I took some pictures but I am having issues getting them off my phone, I will post 'em if I get it working.

As badly as I want one, they're going for more than I want to pay right now. I'm playing the waiting game until it dies down a little bit, maybe buy next year.

I think I'll do the same. I'll get a Glock .22 conversion kit to tide me over in the meantime. I figure if I wait it out, prices will go down and if there are any known kinks.. they'll get resolved.

So instead of paying $349 - $399 for one now (at most places that people have listed above... even Turner's at $399), you'd rather wait a year and try to get it at $299 - $349, for maybe a $50 savings?

IMO, spend the $50 now and enjoy the gun now.
