I believe they are all carbine length. I am referring to putting a middy or even full length on the 16 inch barrel. Not that it matters to me since I am doing a KISS build with this upper.

I think you are right. I would rather have the long hand guard too. I'll bring that up, at least as an option. CMMG is not finished with this project.

I spoke with John at CMMG. Long hand guards will be added to the options.

I am seriously considering buying one of these. I like the Quebec flat top because I want the option to add optics or not, but I would like to have a free float mid length and low pro gas block out at the end.
My concerns is getting it in CA. The price is right as is and I know I will need to DROS, but normally out of state transfers start to get pricey.

The Quebec flat top with flat gas block & poly buffer tube should be least expensive $479.00 ish . Any suggestions on what the buying public really wants below are a few pics.

Pennys dad , At this time we will be offering the standard CMMG .22 rifles like the Quebec and will not be able to offer custom orders at this time. We will be offering discounts to Cal Guns members and trying to make these as economical as possible. They will ship with a 10 round CMMG mag . CMMG may offer custom orders direct from retail clients you could always call them.

I personally like the M4 profile with a standard front sight. 16" barrel that looks like a 14.5" M4.

This is the upper I want to buy once I have the fund.

M4LEP .22 LR Evolution Upper w/Receiver Height Railed GB (.22 Stainless Steel Bolt Upgrade, Stainless Steel Collar) or F-Marked FSB depending on if I have the front sight at that moment.

That will be a great set up for an optic.

Hey Atlantic, any chance that you will carry the CMMG 26 round BHOA magazines and sell them to Californian's as rebuild kits?

Please forgive me, it was a senior moment, I was refering to the gas deflector pinned to the upper. Not the gas block.

Hey Shadow, when you get a chance, can you ask him if they'll ever offer a model where the barrel doesn't have an M4 contour? I've always wanted a dedicated 22lr XM177 clone. Now that I think of it, it would be cool if CMMG did an A1 clone for those that appreciate early ARs.

I guess I could get my barrel re-contoured but that's such a pain in the butt.
