Marlin 795 thread

I finally reached approximately 1,000 rounds through my Marlin 795. I never had a single malfunction, so im really happy with it. Another thing that makes me happy is that 1,000 rounds of .22 only cost me less than $40. Its an awesome little rifle, no complaints.

just wanted to say my rail from liquid industries installed by the skin of my teeth, I guess my rail was pretty wide as I had to hammer the rail on, and it fits GREAT because I shot about 100 rounds and did not notice ANY scope movement! shes holding zero and looking sexy with my wood stock.

Where did you get that wood stock!? How much?

That looks great! You have a link to Liquid Industries? I couldn't find them with a Google search. I put a DIP rail on my Model 60 but would like to check them out. Thanks!

This is not the first time I wished I lived closer to a Bass pro Shop! I've heard so many good things about that place but the cllosest one is over an hour to get there... too far to DROS it there

I only we lived in a state where adults are treated as such so you could walk out with it the same day.

See if Big 5 or Turner's will match a competitor's price. It can't hurt to ask, right?

I guess I picked the wrong time to look for this Marlin! Seeing the usual sales rotate like clockwork but still no 795!!!

I've been checking every week now for the past 4 weeks... never thought I'd be this anxious for a .22LR but I am!

Yeah, they have the "new" Umarex/Colt M16-SPR on sale instead. Never seen those before... but I already have a 15-22 so I'll pass.

Maybe next week! Honestly, I'm sure there will be a sale on the 795 before the new year.

My wife just bought the 795. I like it. put a Winchester 13" bipod from Walmart on it and a 3-9x32 Simmons scope...i would like to do more .....but it is my wife's..

I got the same setup.

I got rid of my tech sights and bought a simmons 22mag 4x32 and UTG accushot scope rings. I really wanted to build a appleseeds rifle but I'll just buy a 10/22 and go that direction. I can't wait to shoot it.
