I got mine for that price at Big 5, though Turners will sometimes have them for $99 after rebate. 'Course, they were all out really really quick when I was looking...Leave a comment:

Check to see if your Sports Authority has them. $104 after rebate.Leave a comment:

Big5..where else?
Big5 has them on sale for 134.99 after 25$ Marlin mail-in rebate, should I get it? Or do other stores put them on special for even lower?Leave a comment:

New Marlin Owner
Tacticool 22 out of Oregon is thinking about adding Marlins to their list of firearms for which they manufacture aftermarket items. I'd really like to see this happen because the length of pull on my Marlin 795 is too long for me and I need an adjustable stock. Please contact them and let them know that you are interested in having them supply Marlin items. If enough of us Marlin owners do this, we might just create another source for aftermarket supplies for our rifles. You can reach them on Twitter @tacticool22 or on their website http://www.tacticool22.com/.
Thanks in advance!

I just bought a 795 and it came with a 4x32 scope. Is this normal?
I threw away the box and there is no manufacture marking on the sight itself.

Congrats on your new 795 SD!
Sage, let us know how that uplula loader works, I have been curious about those for a while now!Leave a comment:

Congratulations on your first purchase! You can't go wrong with it - as you already know
Nice shooting there The Law!
And I ordered my babyuplula at opticsplanet.net since it was relatively cheaper than the others and despite it being sold out it allowed me to purchase. They emailed me and expected it to be in stock some time this week and then they'll process my order. I am in no hurry so I am relatively happy with it.
I'll let you guys know how it is when I get it. I do have the regular lula loader for my pistol and I love it so I don't know how I can go wrong with this one. Need to protect my nails, you know.Leave a comment:

Recently picked up my very first firearm, my 795 from Big 5 in Sac on Mack Road and put a full box of Federal bulk rounds from Walmart through it with not one misfire, stovepipe, nothing! This rifle was pure fun for my son, girlfriend and myself. Thanks to this forum for helping to decide to buy the 795 for a first firearm ever. The ironsights aren't great, but it got us in the ballpark and even a quite a few centermass bullseyes. Bought three extra mags and loading them wasn't a problem when you have a teenage son doing it! A Baby UpLula might be a nice purchase, though. We also rented a SIG 229 pistol and the 795 was more fun as the SIG was harder to aim at 20/25 feet than the 795 at 25 yards with iron sights! Looking forward to getting a telescopic scope and/or some other sight, be it red dot, fire sights or aperature. It all seems good after the time we had!Leave a comment:

This was shot while standing up with bad posture.
