Its a bad thing, Most of the stations here have 18-22 year old kids that dont give a crap and take their time, Dribble gas on your car and cant say hi to you.

I drive a work van most of the time and we fill up at Pacific Pride so I pump my own 90% of the time...I let the wife fill up the other cars

I will probably need to fill up tomorrow to go shooting..we drive up in the hills, but the range is 5 min away...Maybe time to join the range

Need to site in the scope. and I just ordered my bipod so I should have that next week

Now to get a cool tactical gun in a .22lr or .17

Picked up my Marlin yesterday and went shooting today. This rifle is pretty accurate. The only problem I have is that it mis-feeds about every 20 rounds. Because of this I had dry fired it about 25 times today. Used Federal bulk. Stripped it down and did a full cleaning. I hope this helps. Anyone know what could cause so many misfeeds? Overall it's a good rifle when it works like it supposed to.

Mine had a FTF and 1 or 2 non ejects in my first box of winchester's (50 pack)

The slide seemed a bit dry and sticky, I did a cleaning when we got home and added a drop of gun oil in the slide area and it seemed to loosen it up quite a bit. I have yet to get back out with it. Maybe this week after work

Need to sight in the scope as well on the same trip...Bipod ordered yesterday as well...Woo Hoo

I've had nothing but problems with mine. Failure to feed, failure to eject. But, I have been using a silicone grease to lubricate the bolt. I cleaned it all off, used some CLP and will see how it works. I'll report back and let you know if this takes care of the problem. I'm curious if the viscosity of the grease was too high to allow the bolt to properly cycle. Hopefully it is because I like the rifle otherwise.

Took my 795 out again today after replacing the greases I used on the bolt with a few drops of CLP. I fired about 200 rounds with between 5 and 10 malfunctions. This is MUCH better than the reliability I have had in the past. I will try it agian some more before I make a final conclusion but it appears that the grease I was using may have been at least a contributing factor in the malfunctions I was experiencing.

I always use oils instead of greases and never have problems.

Since oils arent as thick I break down, clean/oil after every range trip.

mine seems to be more picky about those golden bullets. I get about 2 bad ones for each 10 :|

Im still breaking mine in, but Ive shot a full box of Federal high velocity bulk 525 and it went bang every time with no jams or problems at all!

Im very happy with mine so far, i clean it with hoppe's and put a couple drops of hoppes oil in the action and its been flawless.

It's a nice little gun. Literally, right out of the box, I just put about 150 rounds of Federal bulk through it. The sights were perfect, I had one case not fully eject on the last round in the mag. I didn't notice until I swapped mags and released the bolt. That was the 20th shot, and no issues after that. I'll get some more time with it this weekend.
