I didn't pay attention, I cut the sticker off the side of the box with the UPC and serial. I hope they will honor that...

Gonna get my 795 out of jail on Monday. Should I clean it before I shoot for the first time? What do you recommend for an economical cleaning kit?Comment
-
Definitely strip it down and clean it up before taking it out. I have a Gunslick cleaning kit for my handgun. I used some brass brushes and cotton patches with BreakFree CLP for the internals, then ran a boresnake through the barrel a few times. My tax refund came chambered in 9mm...Comment

Nice, is this just for the bore or can this be used for everything else?
Also, besides Markley's, what's a good place to go shooting?Comment

Is there a good cleaning solvent that I can use for both the barrel and the action. I'm looking to clean my 795, colt m4 .22lr, and also I'm cleaning and fixing my dads old mod. 60 that he had sitting around for a long time. I don't remember ever seeing him shoot it for as long as I can remember, so I'd like to clean it up and take him to the range. Everything seems to work and properly I just think it needs to be cleaned now. Also I will be getting a bore snake soon.Comment

Nice, you know of any other place that has aftermarket stocks for the 795?Comment
-
Not really there where stocks for the model 70 people where buying off Numrich but I think they are all sold out. People talk about a Butler creek stock but they are long gone. There was a ramline stock but they are gone now too. ATI makes the ugly as sin skeleton stock...
So Boyds is about the only game in town and sadly you do have to do some fitting. They have a couple more models that fit the 60/795:
