tech sight website is selling them for $69 + $6 shipping.
My Marlin 795 stock rear sight slides to a side after shooting, every mag i have to push it back in its position, is it normal? I want to send it back to Marlin and get it checked.
thanksComment

I took my 795 to the range again this weekend and did a lot of ammo testing. Tried 36 gr CCI Mini Mag HP, Federal bulk 36 gr HP, and some Winchester Super X high velocity.
Put maybe 300-400 rounds through it and the only ammo that gave me any trouble was the Winchester and that was only one FTF and one FTE. I doubt I'll bother with the Super X again since it's just as expensive as the CCI. The Federal shot great which is great to find as I now have a good cheap ammo supply. No surprise that the CCI was great.
I was shooting some small 4" targets at 25 yards so my groupings aren't worth showing off at all. Just having fun. I'm getting a bipod and a scope this week. This weekend I'll probably stick with the Tec Sights again to get better at iron sighting but put on the bipod. After that I'll put on the scope.
Having a blast.Comment

Sorry to double post but I got in my DIP Inc drop-in trigger tonight.

I wasn't planning on doing any upgrades like this but the serated face of the stock trigger was really killing my finger after a couple hours at the range. So I bought the drop-in trigger.
It came in the mail today and I decided to drop it in tonight. Install was easy and I was able to adjust most of the pre-travel. Above that it feels way better,Comment

Hi Guys,
Bought a 795 two weeks back and already shot 1300 rounds through it :-). Used Federal cheap 550 with no FTF or FTE.
I have already asked you guys about tech sights upgrade and was little hesitant to spend $75 for this upgrade. Now since i am enjoying shooting this rifle, want to take it to the next level. Stock sights are alright, but if the tech sights make a day and night difference in accuracy, willing to shell out $75.
Please post your experiences with tech sights and also please let me know if the difference between tech sights and stock sights is phenomenal.
Thanks in advance.Last edited by Raptor3000; 09-21-2011, 11:38 PM.Comment
