                    Winnie has a good home

Hi, I finally got my hands on my grandfathers '94. As a young man, he drove an ore wagon for a tungsten mine up around Lovelock NV. This Winnie rode along in the boot. He used it for small game and deer season, such as it was back then. Came with a coupl'a boxes of Peters 30/30 ammo........a bit corroded. The rifle is tight as a drum but a bit beat up # is 249587. Another site I looked at said given that number the MD was 1902.

                    thanks Ric

                            I have an old Winchester

This rifle belonged to my dads' dad. As a young man he teamed an ore wagon for a tungsten mine outside of Lovelock Nevada, the Winnie rode along in the boot. He used it for small game and deer season, he had survived WWI with a Springfield and was elated to have a repeater finally....,
