Looking at this one, has patina for a finish, wood is decent but the hammer has been ground almost off, not sure why anyone would do that. $299 is the current price they have on it, it is a take down model, vintage 1907.

Would the 12ga hammer be the same as the 16ga?????

Hammers are the same. Are ya sure it's a 1907?

You forgot to get the serial number? 30 lashes with a bore snake!
Speakin of a bore snake, take one with you and run it through the barrel. Then take a look with a bore light for pitting. Frosty pitting, meh, burnish and shoot. BB size or bigger craters, run away.
You'll have to swap the stirrup and pin on the hammers, and sometimes those pins can be a beotch to drive out. If it is, PM me for some tips to get it out.

Hey trap, nice what you're doing on your time. I just came into a hybrid.
Sears Model 3T 22S-L- LR, serial #133xxx. Some have said it's a Winchester 190. Some say it's a savage. Some say a Ted Williams. All I know is it is like brand new! Awesome smooth action, gotta be a Winchester. Ideas? Internet search has me chasing my tail.
            Thanks trap

              A Sears Model 3T is a Winchester 190.
There are two reasons why you'll never catch your tail!
To date, there is no serial number data on the Win Model 190 and 290.
On top of that, all the guns that Winchester made for store brands like Sears, Ted Williams, etc., all have a separate serial number from the Winchester serials, and there's no records of those either. Winchester didn't have them, and the stores they were made for don't have them.
I can tell you, that the 190 and 290, were made from 1963 to 1974, with a total of 2,171,263 made.

Thanks Trap, I knew you would give a straight answer, as my tail kept getting shorter !! I was just curious as to what I got, don't need any parts, as like I said, this baby is like new! Can't wait to go out and run some rounds in her, the bolt works soooo smooth and chamber area has just a little dusting of powder. Just gonna give it a good once over, then off to the range. Again thanks for the confirmation.

Serial number 2,600,500 was the last one made in 1963, and that's where my data ends. Serial number 3,000,000 was assembled in 1970.
My best WAG would be 1967-68?
