It is in 22 Hornet. It has a Weaver 330 scope mounted, along with the original sights.

Nice! No one has done a survey on them yet, but I believe the .22 Hornet was the most common chambering. .218 Bee, 25-20, and then 32-20 from what I've seen. Does the Weaver 330 have the fine cross hairs, or the fine cross hair and post?

Yep, 1952, with 5,585 made that year. Last one made was in 1957, and it was the only one made that year.
