My card was charged yesterday. From other responses here, I feel like I should have it for my trip at the end of the month.

Anyone have input on submitting a change of address for C&R? I never received an updated C&R after I submitted my first change of address request over 6 months ago. I've also moved again since then, so I want to update it (again) anyway.

Basically, the FFL change of address form is a bit confusing and not sure what exactly I should include and not include.

I'm looking for input from anyone who has successfully changed the address on their C&R.

I don't remember the form exactly. But I faxed my change of address to the number on the form and it was waiting for me at my new home, less than 3 weeks later.

2 weeks. Seriously. I sent mine on December 27, they charged my card on January 2, and I have an FFL in my hands.
Yours may vary due to mailing times, as Martinsburg is a 3 drive from me.
And that is an odd thing, I mailed it to Atlanta, but the FFL was mailed from Martinsburg.

I'm not sure what to do with item 14 Name and address of chief law enforcement officer - Do I just write in the Orange county sheriff name and address or is it my particular town huntington beach?

basically, yes.

if you call 911 from your home, would the local PD show up or does a Sheriff's deputy show up?

if your city (if you live in a city) has an actual PD, you can list the Chief as your CLEO. if you don't live in a city, or your city doesn't have a PD and contracts with the county SO, then your Sheriff would be your only CLEO.

Card was charged $30 by ATF one week after dropping app in mail...

Does the COE still excempt the holder of the 1 in 30 for handguns?

On a different topic my 1st ccw appointment is shceduled for end of march getting a livescan started becasue of the coe should expedite me getting my ccw card. I wish I would of done this sooner.
