I've left a message for Yvette every day for the past two weeks. Finally spoke with her this morning. My application was approved back in May. Seems it never made it out to be processed.

She promised me that she would make sure my application gets processed and mailed out ASAP.

So another week or so before I finally receive it. I also applied for my COE last month and waiting for it.

All I can say is that I am happy things are moving again and I wish that I didn't sit on my butt and wait to handle this sooner.

Mailed on May 23rd, charged on june 4th, Kicked back in end of June for missing info, received today.

Trick is just to forget about it and by surprised it came in the mail.

CC usually gets charge about 2-4 days after you mail in your form. Sent mine in around 7/19 got charged few days later. I just received mine today.

My credit card was charged 3 days after I mailed the application. So probably on the same day they received it.

How do I get a COE

After obtaining the form from CA DOJ BoF, you need to locate a Livescan location near you. Livescan operators tend to be at places like law enforcement agencies, UPS stores, Pack and Mail shops, and school districts.
At the Livescan operator, they will take digital fingerprints and electronically submit them to CA DOJ and FBI to run a criminal background check. This is the same system required of firefighters, police officers, and school and pre-school teachers. The Livescan operator will charge their own fee that is usually $15 to $35. In addition you will pay a $32 DOJ fingerprint processing fee and a $19 FBI fingerprint processing fee at the time of completing your fingerprints at the operator for an average out the door cost of $71 ($52 FBI/CADOJ, $20 Operator).
You will then mail the completed CA DOJ form with the ATI number that the operator gives you to the CA DOJ at the address listed in the form. You will usually receive your COE in the mail after about 30 to 45 days and it will be valid for about 350 days when you receive it.

Sent in my renewal and The ATF cashed my check 7/26, finally received my C&R FFL03 on August 30th, so total time once I mailed it in was about 5 weeks.

I just wanted to get some clarification on this to make sure that I don't mess anything up.

So I want to download and fill out the atf-f pdf file that you download from the website, then send it to the mailing address listed on the instructions with my CC info filled out.

Secondly - what does it mean in section nine by "Position"?

Thirdly, should I just go to my local police station (Pleasanton) and drop off a copy of this and have them give it to the CLEO? I don't exactly know how to find out who my CLEO is and I don't know how weird it would be to just go to the police station asking to drop this off.

Then once they charge me and I get the license back in the mail I am clear to buy C&R's off the internet all I want as long as I keep a log of them, correct?

just look up your CLEO's mailing info on the internet, note it on the ATF copy of the app, and just mail the CLEO copy to that address. That's it, you're done. don't have to worry about going to the Police station or anything.

I never got a response from the emails and phone calls.
