30 minutes...... hmm I think it 30 seconds
. I got the e-mail twice and both times I log in , it's all gone.
Oh well, it will be the third, fourth, fifth ... e-mail, and it will be Summer sale, Fourth of July sale, Labor Day sale, Black Friday sale, Xmas sale, New Year sale. I wait, I have enough "toys" to "play" with.
Edit: I got the third e-mail from Riflegears today (Apri-6-2018) and after log in , it's all gone.Last edited by newbie1234; 04-07-2018, 1:56 AM.Comment

With a non-takedown 10/22, all you have to do is drill a cleaning hole in the back face of the receiver to avoid removing the barrel every time you clean it. The same simple modification could be done on a non-takedown PCC.who knows. i feel like the takedown version is superior since when you have to clean the barrel, you would have to break it down anyways, and that was the weak spot in the 10/22's. the V-Block that holds the barrel in always start to droop or some people over torque it or under screw it leaving it loose.
with the takedown, one can consistently remove the barrel and re-attach it and it will always have the correct tension.Anchors Aweigh

why would i want to drill into the receiver of my gun? that shouldn't be a solution to what is a bad initial design that the takedown solves.Originally posted by leelawBecause -ohmigosh- they can add their opinions, too?Originally posted by SoCalSig1911Preppers canceled my order this afternoon because I called them a disgrace... Not ordering from those clowns again.Originally posted by PrepperGunShopTruthfully, we cancelled your order because of your lack of civility and your threats ... What is a problem is when you threaten my customer service team and make demands instead of being civil. Plain and simple just don't be an a**hole (where you told us to shove it).Comment

I was surprised this is actually a popular thing. They even sell drill guides to do it on Midway USA, etc...
I'd pick another solution like a bore snake, but I guess I'm not serious enough to drill receivers.Comment

I have to say that after watching Ruger's tutorial video on disassembly of the PCC, it seems to be a rather lengthy and convoluted process.Comment

I saw that too. Somewhat like the 10/22 but he goes the whole 9 yards taking out the extractor and firing pin assemblies. See those little pins fall out... For normal cleaning of my 10/22 I don't disassemble that far. I just spray out extractor while manipulating it. Plus I doubt it'll get as filthy as the .22lr 10/22.
Maybe? Hopefully.Comment

I don`t either. Frankly, I will never disassemble the weapon to that extent unless there is some sort of functioning issue. I read somewhere that the PCC has a number of different screws and pins, none of which are the same.I saw that too. Including me. From the muzzle. But Scratch said that was a “bad initial design.” I merely pointed out a simple modification to avoid having to do what millions of U.S. soldiers had to do to overcome that “bad design” without having to resort to demanding a “takedown” battle rifle.Last edited by Mayor McRifle; 04-06-2018, 7:39 PM.Anchors Aweigh
