I'm pretty sure that front sling swivel is removable if you don't plan to use it.
So um... moon labia or something.

If you look closely at the pic CessnaDriver posted, you can see the TLR-7 he has mounted barely fits at the back, top curved area where the rail cutout on the stock ends. The TLR-7 which utilizes a single CR123A cell is a bit shorter than the other TLR's that use two CR123A's.

Oh that sucks. I just happened to hit their site today. I don't know when they got a shipment. I was on the list for a few shipments and re-upped but didn't add myself again last time they sold out.

It must have been a healthy shipment if they were offering the Vortex package and the rifles. I wonder how many days it was up there this run. Seems like they get some each month. Last notification I got was 3-15 IIRC.

Picked up Ridgid case from Home Depot for $30, for my Ruger PCC. Tight fit with no room to spare, but I like it, still need to add foam and organize it, but the case is discrete, water and dust resistant (has rubber gasket) and secure (can be locked). Also need to add shoulder strap for convenience.

I like it. You could give yourself a bit more breathing room eliminating the extra spacer in the LOP and going with a different brake.

I wonder if the 22" tool box would work too. I might pickup a case like that.

Anyone know any good discrete backpacks for the pcc? Besides the copper basin option

I needed something longer than the 22" Skinner folding take-down and decided to try this since it has nice straps and it is 1680 denier ballistic nylon, reputably tough as hell and on clearance plus 15% off LAPG "springclean" code. I got the medium which holds up to 28" rifles or in my case, two 28" halves. My PCC with scope and spacers is longer than 22". Skinner does offer different sizes up to 29" IIRC so one would work.

I would imagine that any backpack with over 20 inches in interior length would work. I'm not sure the dimensions of it but maybe check out the Kelty Redwing 50. If you go much bigger than that, people might wander why you have a large hiking pack on you when you're not hiking.

Funny you bring up the Kelty Redwing 50, I own one already as I bought one for travel. Was looking for something a bit smaller that would specifically hold a firearm
