I dunno... I have it on an AR lower 1/3 and one on an MKII pistol as far as I recall. I will ASSUME the TRS-25 would be perfect at low pic height on a PCC... because the Vortex Crossfire RDS I did mount on the PCC was great, nearly low enough to co-witness irons but not quite. Also the Crossfire with low mount is perfect for the Sig522 it is on now. co-witnessing there perfectly.

Thinking about buying another Crossfire RDS with my last Cabela's card and rewards bucks... waiting for AJ to hit at least 10%.

IMHO, the Crossfire comes up into my view better than the FF3, but YMMV.

Skyhawk has the TRS-25 on a low QD mount on the PCC I think.

If it is like the Crossfire it is about exactly the same as the irons cheek weld.

OK that's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for.

        It's nice and low

I know you asked someone else, but I have the TRS25 on mine, and it's pretty much dead on without throwing off cheek weld (pics of it a couple pages back).

Actually, if the emitter for the laser wasn't in the way, I bet you could cowitness the dot with the peep/post.

Sadly, still haven't shot the damn thing yet.... :|

Awesome man thanks for chiming in! I appreciate your feedback.

I should be DROSing at Turner's within 2 weeks now. I'm pretty thrilled to know that my holosun will work just fine on the PC.

Skyhawk talked about this here: #792

His description sounds exactly like my experience with the Vortex tube RDS low mount so I assume the same height or close enough for TRS, Crossfire, PA, Holosun, etc...

makes me wonder how low an MRO will sit with a low mount, but I'm not investing in a low mount to find out. Too many good options already that won't cost me anything more.

Called ProForce this morning and asked if they had any Ruger PCC's in stock. They said they only had 1 left and it was the threaded barrel model for $504.99. Ran down there at lunch and put it in jail. Can't wait to shoot it!

Great news that they called you, what is your invoice date when you pre-ordered?

Rifle Gear had some in stock for probably 30 minutes. Not the best price, but they got a shipment. Saw an email notice but by the time I looked, gone.

                          What.

My friend told me he was going to buy one for around $200.00 over MSRP. Work needed to be done on the rifle to make it Cal. legal. He canceled the order.

There's no work that needs to be done to any PC Carbine except removing a 17 rounder for compliance. Unless someone thought the mag had to be blocked or the Glock mag well had to be installed for the safe handling demo because there were no Ruger mags available or the demo could not be done just chambering the snap cap manually - no mag.

What a bunch of B.S.! Which so-called GunShop was spreading that suffocating level of FUD?
