But I suspect I still have a long wait as I changed my pre-order to threaded and that put me no doubt on the bottom of the list at that time.
You must have been later in the pre-orders than I. I was never asked for what version I wanted.

The guy I talked to did say that they're going to go down the list and call people to explain what was received and give them a choice of what they want.

FWIW, I was told the ones that were received were threaded models, because I asked what I had ordered when I put mine in. It didn't specify on the receipt either.

i'm betting ruger is pumping out more of the threaded models than the non-threaded since it can sell in almost all the states. i mean it is even legal in CA.

hard to justify putting a lot of production time into a model that is to conform to i believe 2 states.

Imagine a Keltec with so much demand. You'd finally get one five years from now. Ruger is a powerhouse.

I purchased a couple guns at Turners this morning, again, they wouldn't even take a deposit on a PCC9. I had my name on a list at Bass Pro Shops, they called me this morning and said they had no clue when they could get more, so he basically said the list is going in the trash.
Big 5 called me Saturday and said they wouldn't know anything for 3-4 months.

          Good for Ruger
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

My original order date is Dec 30th and I changed my order from the non threaded to the threaded version and my order date did not change and again when I changed it from 1 to 2 my order date did not change.

Look on your deposit form it will show an order date, that is the date they are using.

They must have made a big chunk before they released any, because for awhile they were everywhere. Apparently it wasn't a big enough chunk because they're all gone now and they're only going to show up as the production rate allows.

I was afraid something like that might happen, so I bought the first one I could at a reasonable price.

i'm just kinda mad at myself for not picking one up in the beginning.

now i'll have to wait until probably end of the year to get one.

maybe i'll buy another gun to cheer myself up.

I'm surprised we haven't seen PPT at inflated prices, YET.

Maybe Ruger is working on the 45 acp model

Maybe your store got 30 of the 200 I was told got to the warehouse? Did you ask if 30 was the number for the store, or the total number they got to put towards the 500 pre orders?
I didn't ask about the 30 number. I assumed it was for that store. At that point I was weary from the process and wanted to leave .

Got mine out of jail today...Stuck on the Glock mag adaptor and put 150 rounds through her without any issues

Love it...straight on target and it feels great....this might replace my shotgun as one of my home protection guns

Can anybody recommend a red dot sight? 50 yards distance is perfect

Bushnell TRS-25 is sub $50 on Amazon often, if budget is a concern

I'm not really on a budget..I just want the scope to work well ...not sure whether it's worth it to spend bigger or smaller because I know nothing about them

That Busnell works great for what it is, and it’s probably the lowest I’d go. With most anything else, red dots at this point are worth what you pay for them for durability, a smaller dot, and glass quality.

Also, most companies worth a damn will do a lifetime warranty on their red dots. Some will even do a “no questions asked” type warranty.
