Good deals are found when items are listed in the wrong category.
How about a Colt Police Positive in semi-auto pistols category?

I am working on collecting the 5 different size Colt pre-war double actions:

This is the best photo the internet has to offer showing all of them next to each other for size comparison.

I now have a pocket positive, a police positive and an official police.
The police positive specials fetch more than the regular police positives as they are typically in 38 special while the shorter cylinder police positive 38's are chambered in 38 S&W.
Maybe I'll get a 32-20 police positive special to match up with my S&W 32-20 M&P.
I also have the S&W 32long twin to the colt pocket positive.

Getting the Colt New Service and a 1917 S&W is going to be expensive.
None of those are cheap anymore.

Yes, I've gotten a couple of my Marlins on Gunbroker because the title or description were wrong.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

Sometimes they just need a squeeky bunny to distract em and ya can get your rifle cleaned:

She chewed the squeek all out of that bunny, thats why it has blue tape holding the stuffing in.

She is too cute! My wife sews their toys up when they rip them apart.

Our little Jack Russell terrorist tears toys up. We had a doughnut shaped one that seemed indestructible, but two of them disappeared. Maybe they were attractive to coyotes. She strips the fuzz off tennis balls and tears up stuffed toys in no time.

I have a restored 1917, an Official Police, a first model Detective Special (with the larger grip,) an old model Cobra and a 1970s Python. I don't shoot the Cobra much due to the aluminum frame. When I do shoot it, it is with light handloads. I also have an old model Trooper .357 with custom Herrett grips. The picture of the Cobra is with some old NIB Jay Scott grips I found in my Dad's stuff. I keep the original checkered wood grips on it.

Quick family pic. Hard to get them all lined up for a good shot standing up which I would prefer, but I don't want to play dominoes with my babies.

                    From the top:

                    Henry case color .45-70
                    Henry case color .44 mag
                    Henry Golden Boy .22
                    Winchester 1892 octagon takedown in .44-40 (1922-ish)
Winchester 1894 golden saddle ring carbine .30-30 (1967)
                    Winchester 1894 carbine .32 Win Special. (1942 I think)
                    Winchester 1894 .30-30 (1974) from my father.
Winchester 9422M Legacy in .22 Mag

I like 'em all, but am especially keen on the Winchester 9422 in .22WMR.

Unfired... got the box. You don't see a lot of pistol grip 9422's in .22 WMR.

                          Thank you sir.

Moving to Tennessee is easy on the wallet in many ways... this isn't one of them.

Here is the photo again of the rifle rack at the AVGC when Chris and I shot the Memorial Duece McGurk lead slingin' party. Mine at the left are (L to R):
                            1949 94 Win .30-30, JM Guide Gun .45-70, Rossi .44 mag, Rossi .45 Colt, 1974 Win 94 -30-30, Win 9422M.

Chris' are the group to the right. If I recall correctly, there's a CZ527 7.62x39, an 1894 Marlin and a Marlin stainless Guide Gun .45-70. I'm sure he will correct me if I am wrong.

Various handguns also made the party.

Most of mine are in this pic. I really need to stop buying guns (long guns) and save for another safe.

For you fisherman out there. I know it's not the right forum but I thought some might appreciate it. Went fishing with my sis and bil yesterday. My sis caught the biggest fish (4.8#) a good size female lighting rainbow.
