right on - minis are neat guns!

soooooo Mrs. Bee is an armorer for her dept. and the mini-14 is their service rifle..

after she finished Ruger factory training, they gave her a 50% off any gun coupon!

still haven't figured out what to use it on LoL
I started out with nothing - and I still have most of it

It's going to be a fun one. Got lots of ammo too

So we have 30-30's, AR's and Mini's for the next round.

Let's setup some of my steel targets further away next time. We can go all the way out to where that plastic bottle was. That must have been about 200 yards. I don't know why we haven't done that yet, I have a bunch of steel and saw horses built. I'll get Cole to go with us and we'll get him to help out.

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I've always wanted a mini 14, for some crazy reason things never worked out. I remember seeing them in Wester Outdoors News for years under $300.00.

When I started assembling ARs my "want" for them kind of died out. Then a couple years ago I had a look at a mini 30.

When I put up the Rossi FS a gentleman contacted me wanting to trade and the deal was done. This one is a series 189 made in 1991.

The Mini 30/14 has another lever, the trigger guard. Flip it up to remove the trigger assembly.
Sent it up to Brimstone for trigger job, money well spent.

If you ever want to add a bipod I can walk you through how I set up my Mini-14 attachment for a Harris model. Pretty clean anchoring system as the stock returns to its original profile when the bipod is removed.

Check this out - someone sold a Winchester 9422 on eBay, and seems to have gotten away with it!

Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

I am working on my reference collection and Winchester shotguns are woefully under-represented.
That's where this early 1950's Winchester 25 came in:

Before that, I only had my 1990's Winchester 1400 so since 1 is none and 2 is 1, I needed to get a 3rd and it made sense to have something more current.
I am sad that Winchester has gone to Turkish manufacture for their pump shotguns, but in collecting a series of guns, you take the good with the bad to build a proper collection.

So I happened on to this the other day:

A lot of Winchester shotguns get no respect.... sure, the old Model 12's have a big following, and the '97's are highly prized by the cowboy shooters, but the majority of the "mainstream" 70's90's Winchester shotguns can be had for next to nothing.

                          OUTSTANDING.

What are they? The Rossi could be anything revolver caliber. The first Marlin prob .30-30. The Dark? .45-70 and speaks for itself. The Marlin 1894 judging from the proportion of the cartridge in the butt sleeve, .357 Magnum.

                          That's a solid loadout, there.

No doubt! and a Contributor, too. Not to put too fine a point on it, again, the question is always: Does he? want to be a part of this group... We may find this hard to believe, but there are those who own levers who don't really want to "join". I can understand that.

                          That's some good stuff.

Damn this lever fever! I really want a 38-55 now. I’ve noticed that the Win 94 Legendary Frontiersman rifles seem pretty damn nice for the price they go for. I’m not a fan of the gaudy medallion on the Stock but I can look past that. The rest of the rifle looks very nice.

I have one I want to sell, if you're interested. A great shooter, some small wear here and there, complete with the original (but beat to hell) box

I have an original 1901 Winchester '94 in 38-55 that I love, so this one is taking up space.
