I think I found my next lever action so the .41 magnum will have to wait.
Winchester Model 1892 Large Loop Carbine in .45 Colt. It also comes in .357 mag, .44 Rem mag and .44-40 Win.

Here's a purty. Belongs to a friend. 2nd gen but unfortunately been refinished. However, still a looker:

The wife's Golden Boy. She calls her Henrietta:

        This one we call Berttie:

Great CCH, forearm a little plain but the stock is a rocking:

Don't mind the pics at all 'boss. There's a Cimarron SA in .44-40, blued with 5.5" barrel for $537. There ya go! Tombstone Tactical, p. 3.

I made the mistake of looking around on the Skinner sights website, while trying to figure out what I wanted to put on either my old 70's Marlin in 30WCF or my 20" 45 Colt 1894 Cowboy. I decided to go with Black Gold on the octagon barrel, and I'll swap the Williams from the 45 to the 3030. Or I may go with a red dot on it, since it's a hunting rifle.

But back to the topic at hand, those Skinner color case hardened sights are sexxxyyyyy, and now I'm on the lookout for a near-perfect case hardened gun to put them on. I just can't decide if a CCH Skinner sight would look good on my 24" blued 1894 Cowboy in 45 Colt, if I need a whole new rifle. The 24", with an Alaskan sight would be pretty rad...

I think a blued rifle would look better with blued sights and CCH sights should definitely go on a CCH rifle. Skinner and Henry seem to go together well so a whole new rifle could be a Big Boy Color Case Hardened Side Gate in 357 mag, 44 mag or 45 Colt.

^ That's similar to what I'm thinking, especially since until a couple weeks ago I never have owned a Henry, and still don't own a centerfire one. (I'll be picking up the Golden Boy I got recently on Monday afternoon. )

Thanks for the pointer, I did not know of Tombstone Tactical. Yeah - I know I can probably order one, but I'm looking to find one locally at a gun show..... Cash and carry, no tax, that sort of thing. Plus, I prefer to "taste, touch, and feel" guns before I buy, if possible.

So far, I've only seen one in 44-40, and that was on a table at a gun show in upstate WA when I was traveling for work.
Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

That's good, it's always fun picking up a new gun. I just picked up a SA revolver earlier this week.
I only have one Henry right now and it's a brass frame Big Boy Classic in .45 Colt. I have a couple on order but with the way things are right now I don't know when they will arrive.

People tend to complain about the red stain on the Uberti stocks, but I think it gives a good contrast against the CCH.

It also looks like the wood fit where the grip meets the receiver is actually better than on my Winchester. It looks pretty flush on your Uberti and on my Winchester the wood is noticeably proud where it meets the receiver.
