I think you mentioned that your up north. If you ever get down this way with your lever gun/s your more than welcome to join us on a Mojave shoot.

I have to say that everytime that I have been shooting in the Mojave with Apples and Penn, there's a lot more talking than shooting. I really think that we could all show up with 20 rounds of every caliber we have in the trucks and still walk away with a few rounds that we didn't used.

Lots of talking, looking and good times.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Mark, I have an excuse to shoot more next time: Sight in the now scoped .45 Henry. Unless it's dialed right in, then, more yapping. Think I'll bring my 30-30 also.

Last time we shot together I was pressure-lapping my .44 SBL.

I won't subject you fellers to that again.

I was out early last month to a spot my son and I used to shoot at when he lived in Tehachapi. I was pressure-lapping my Super Blackhawk, shooting my .44 SBL and 1911. I went through some ammo.

Two older dudes (older than me!) rolled up in a Suburban with a couple of Glocks but parked about 75 yards east of my spot.

Chris, do you think you might be free on the 10th ?
We could meet you in Mojave and head over to your spot.

Dagnabbit. I will not be available.

What’s happening with the spot that the MLC calls home?

Chris, after a whole bunch of Cal-Trans[?] work out there, it looks like we're back in business at our original MLC home. Sooner or later, we'll all hook up.
The Mojave ain't going anywhere YET. More handloading and not enough shooting is making me a bit antsy to shoot.

BLM seems to have something going on there. They installed a large information sign in the turnout. The sign has nothing on it at all, as of a month ago.

7 day weather says partly cloudy, high at 55, low at 32.

                      What Tom said.

I'm sorry Tom. I don't know why I missed your post. I went to the indoor range this morning. I'm really liking this new Rossi

No worries Mark. Liking that new Rossi, huh? I figured that. Don't know what the heck that construction was all about out there, but, seems like they're finally done. At least we have a road again.

Well I have had for over 20 years now an older Marlin 1894 with a scope on top, and a Winchester 94AE below it/ both chambered in .357 magnum - .38 special.
